The Blue Lagoon might be closed to visitors from May until October because of the breeding season of a rare bird species.

You need to climb 1260 stairs to the top, so a degree of physical fitness is required. Once you make it to the top, you are rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding countryside with all the limestone cliffs and beautiful lush rain forest. If you think the climb to the top might be too tough for you, you can also visit the temple on ground level.

Maximum number of participants per group is 10 persons.

Emerald Pool (Sa Morakot)

During a short hike through the forest, you have the opportunity to explore an intact ecosystem. Sure you will be impressed by the unique ambience of the rainforest. The Emerald Pool or also called ‘Sa Morakot’ is a unique natural pond with a visually limpid blue color and wonderfully warm waters, making it a stunning spot for swimming in. An abundance of minerals from the surrounding limestone hills gives the pool its jade tone. Nearby the Emerald Pool you'll find the Blue Lagoon, a beautiful pool with deep aquamarine-blue water. But don’t be tempted to take a dip in the lovely looking blue water, because unlike in the Emerald Pool you can’t swim here at all! The bottom consists of quicksand and the water temperature varies between 30 and 50 degrees Celcius. After visit to the Emerald Pool and Blue Lagoon we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant (approx. 1 hour - lunch is for own expenses). National Park fee THB 400 per person is not included and has to be paid cash.

Namtok Ron (Hot Spring Waterfall ) - Khlong Thom

Namtok Ron is located in a shady green forest area with numerous hot springs. The hot springs and cool streams converge on a slope to form lovely cascades of warm water. The water comes from volcanic chambers deep underground. Therefore the water always has a beneficial temperature of 35 to 42 degrees Celsius! You can relax in one of the many natural hollows in the creek and watch the water gently cascade into the cool pools. Hot Springs fee THB 200 per person is not included and has to be paid cash.

We really enjoyed this trip. Otto our guide was informative and friendly. The Emerald pool was so nice to get into after our walk. The hot springs were very hot 35 degrees but lovely. The Tiger caves are well worth seeing even if like us you cannot do the 1200 or so steps up.

You cross a whole jungle forest on a path where you see some waterways to reach a beautiful blue waterhole but where there are so many people that it is a municipal pool!!! It's not crazy, huh, I was expecting something crazy, I recommend to people who haven't been through it 50 times.

The places are beautiful and paradise, but in our case the guide who touched us was very disheveled, we struggled to understand his English and did not explain anything. I wanted it eaten at 11 in the morning and in a particular place, we managed not to. In addition, as each site carries the costs of fees, in the end the excursion is quite expensive, it involves 650 bath per person to add to the price of the contract.

This tour was amazing! We had the BEST guide Jimmy who was so kind & had such a fun energy. He knew the secrets to beating the crowds & kept us laughing. Due to the rain we couldn’t see the Tiger Temple but the Emerald Pool & Hot springs were unforgettable! Must do if you’re in Krabi :)

We had such a wonderful day with Otto on our Emerald Pool, Hot Spring, and Tiger Cave Temple tour. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He also took pictures and videos of our family which made it a really unforgettable experience. Highly recommend booking with Wander Siam and asking for Otto!

Timmy was so helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. She even took pictures for us so that we got some really nice shots. The tour was well organized, the lunch was tasty, and the views were beautiful. My friends and I had a wonderful experience. And our driver Mr. Lee was also very nice. I would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone.

Awesome tour guide (Mr. Otto was mine). The places you see are pretty incredible. Everything was smooth from pickup to drop off and the guide was very communicative beforehand with questions I had. 100% recommend.

Timm is an excellent tour guide who speaks great English. She took all the time we needed at each stop. We visited the Emerald and Blue Pools (hot springs), ate local Thai food for lunch and the last stop was the Tiger Temple with 1,260 steps! Such an amazing day. Don’t hesitate booking this tour. we messaged via What’s App for details on meeting time and location.

Timm was a great guide, she is very lovely and informative. Always made sure we were happy and took us to the good spots early so we missed all the tourist crowds. Loved hearing her stories and information about the places. Definitely recommend!!
