The Blue Lagoon might be closed to visitors from May until October because of the breeding season of a rare bird species.

You need to climb 1260 stairs to the top, so a degree of physical fitness is required. Once you make it to the top, you are rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding countryside with all the limestone cliffs and beautiful lush rain forest. If you think the climb to the top might be too tough for you, you can also visit the temple on ground level.

Maximum number of participants per group is 10 persons.

Emerald Pool (Sa Morakot)

During a short hike through the forest, you have the opportunity to explore an intact ecosystem. Sure you will be impressed by the unique ambience of the rainforest. The Emerald Pool or also called ‘Sa Morakot’ is a unique natural pond with a visually limpid blue color and wonderfully warm waters, making it a stunning spot for swimming in. An abundance of minerals from the surrounding limestone hills gives the pool its jade tone. Nearby the Emerald Pool you'll find the Blue Lagoon, a beautiful pool with deep aquamarine-blue water. But don’t be tempted to take a dip in the lovely looking blue water, because unlike in the Emerald Pool you can’t swim here at all! The bottom consists of quicksand and the water temperature varies between 30 and 50 degrees Celcius. After visit to the Emerald Pool and Blue Lagoon we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant (approx. 1 hour - lunch is for own expenses). National Park fee THB 400 per person is not included and has to be paid cash.

Namtok Ron (Hot Spring Waterfall ) - Khlong Thom

Namtok Ron is located in a shady green forest area with numerous hot springs. The hot springs and cool streams converge on a slope to form lovely cascades of warm water. The water comes from volcanic chambers deep underground. Therefore the water always has a beneficial temperature of 35 to 42 degrees Celsius! You can relax in one of the many natural hollows in the creek and watch the water gently cascade into the cool pools. Hot Springs fee THB 200 per person is not included and has to be paid cash.

Excellent experience! Mr. Oddio was very kind and patient. They were very punctual in picking me up, the vehicle was very comfortable, and the driver was very friendly. They made my trips to these beautiful places the best. 1000% recommended!

It wasn't made clear which McDonalds was the meet point and caused a lot of confusion. Our transport had been damaged and we had a warning bleep continuously bleeping. Our guide we were told was in hospital and the stand in guide was very off when asked about the bleeping. The guide then fell asleep until we reached the first destination and his mood improved. His knowledge was limited with interesting facts. We departed for the the hot springs and we told our guide would protect our valuables whilst we enjoyed the hot pools. Upon return the guide needed to be woken from his sleep. The final stop at the Tiger Temple was nice but 2 hours allocated because those wanting it able to walk up the thousand plus steps to the view point. It was too long a stop if you were just viewing the Temple and surrounding grounds. I appreciate the guide was a last minute stand in and might have had a late night but no real facts were provided, the annoyance of the continuous bleep was an irritation. Having said all that we still enjoyed the day but could have been a lot better.

We had the best time with AD! His energy was infectious and he knew so much with many tips on how to get the best experience at each place. The way they’ve organised - hot springs, emerald pool, tiger temple is perfect as we just missed the crowds at each one. AD, thank you so much again for such a memorable day!!

Very planned out and enjoyable. Loved the experience. Tsusi (sorry not sure on spelling) was a fun tour guide. The Emerald Pool was beautiful. Be aware the Tiger Cave steps are really hard work getting up.

The trip experience was good although pick up was badly organised. We were told 8 am but not picked up until 45 minutes later. The springs were wonderful. Would have liked more information on the history of the Temple

Otto was a great tour guide and did his best even though he was sick. The itinerary was good, but we would've liked more time at the Tiger Cave Temple, it took us 50 minutes to get up the stairs so we could only look around for 10 before heading back down.

We really enjoyed this trip. Otto our guide was informative and friendly. The Emerald pool was so nice to get into after our walk. The hot springs were very hot 35 degrees but lovely. The Tiger caves are well worth seeing even if like us you cannot do the 1200 or so steps up.

You cross a whole jungle forest on a path where you see some waterways to reach a beautiful blue waterhole but where there are so many people that it is a municipal pool!!! It's not crazy, huh, I was expecting something crazy, I recommend to people who haven't been through it 50 times.

The places are beautiful and paradise, but in our case the guide who touched us was very disheveled, we struggled to understand his English and did not explain anything. I wanted it eaten at 11 in the morning and in a particular place, we managed not to. In addition, as each site carries the costs of fees, in the end the excursion is quite expensive, it involves 650 bath per person to add to the price of the contract.

This tour was amazing! We had the BEST guide Jimmy who was so kind & had such a fun energy. He knew the secrets to beating the crowds & kept us laughing. Due to the rain we couldn’t see the Tiger Temple but the Emerald Pool & Hot springs were unforgettable! Must do if you’re in Krabi :)
