Our first stop takes us to Cueva de las Maravillas, a spectacular natural site where you will delve into the history of the Taínos, the island's first inhabitants. This majestic cave houses centuries-old cave paintings, illuminated to enhance every detail of this preserved heritage. Upon exiting, you will encounter iguanas, emblematic inhabitants of the region, roaming freely in a protected area.

Continue your discovery of La Romana by immersing yourself in the daily life of Dominican workers with a visit to an underwear factory. Away from traditional tourist circuits, this stop offers you an authentic immersion in a workshop where you can learn about working conditions, manufacturing processes, and workshop organization. I made three excursions with Tropical Evasion each experience was exceptional! Far from mass tourism, you can discover authentic places in a friendly atmosphere. The organization was impeccable, the guides are passionate and trusted and the lunches... excellent every time! Services are in French, English or Spanish. A real nugget for those looking to experience something other than the classic circuits. I highly recommend to those looking for a human adventure, respectful and rewarding! Excursion not to be missed: visit the cave of wonders, which bears his name!! The drawings of the Tainos , The liguanas, the underwear factory where you can see the real working conditions. Lunch facing the sea, excellent fish! The medieval village reconstitute on the heights of the river, the chocolate factory with chocolate tea tasting and chocolate...Thank you to Joy for all her explanations and Spanish/French translations, her dynamism and good humor are very pleasant and contagious. I highly recommend!!!

Superb day Special mention at the discovery of Altos de Chavon Superb village and what a view!! The discovery of the cave is also an incredible surprise in the Dominican Republic Lunch was a real plus I highly recommend if you want to discover a little more the Dominican Republic
