5.00Guide extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Best tour guide we had in PR, hands down. Included water and delicious homemade juice from local vendor. Wear sunblock. Highly recommend!

5.00Dr Martes provides an excellent 2 hour tour of beautiful Old San Juan. He’s a history professor and imparts his extensive knowledge about the history of Puerto Rico and Old San Juan in an interesting and engaging way. He explains the history of various sites as well as stop along the way. He welcomes questions. There were 11 people in our group which was a good number. He also stopped and bought waters for everyone. We would highly recommend his tour.

5.00I had a wonderful experience learning about Old San Juan with The Doctor. He was very knowledgeable and engaging and took time to answer queries. We covered a lot of ground during the tour which was wonderful and I’m happy to say that I have a deeper understanding and respect for Puerto Rico!

5.00Please edit this post to make it more interesting and impactful: Dr. Morales gave us a great experience learning about the history and culture of San Juan and Puerto Rico. He was very informative, friendly, and engaging, making the walking tour a treat and great way to learn about the city and island. We did the tour on our first day, and it really made our seven days special by providing such a rich context for our stay. One of the highlights was visiting the Casa Museo Felisa Rincon De Gaultier, the home of San Juan’s first woman Mayor. We were there for just a few minutes during the tour, but wanted to return to see the whole house and exhibits. When we returned the next day, the woman Dr. Morales introduced to provided us with a full tour of the house and explained many of the artifacts in there. So, I would highly recommend this tour with Dr. Morales. It was a great experience and made our Puerto Rico visit special.

5.00Dr. Jose Morales brings a deep knowledge of the history of Puerto Rico and San Juan city to this walking tour of the old city of San Juan. He stops at many of the wonderful museums and heritage sites and lets the site guides give an overview of the site. The walk was not hard, and we greatly appreciated the water bottles and flavored shaved ice limbers that Dr. Morales treated us to.
