5.00Dr Morales is incredibly knowledgeable and gave an excellent tour of San Juan. He told us the story of Puerto Rico starting before western discovery through the Spanish American War. Then explained their standing within the USA today. Highly recommend!
If you want a true sense of San Juan history, take this tour!

5.00This is hands down the best history tour my family has ever taken, and we’ve done countless all over the world. Jose’s ability to connect ancient history to San Juan’s current culture shows his deep understanding and passion for history. He is known all over town by police, museum operators, street vendors, etc. This allowed for access to places that are not open to the general public and a deeper connection to the city. We only had a short time to explore San Juan during our cruise stop but thanks to Jose we learned more than we would've on our own if we had days to explore. We could have followed him around twice as long and still want more time with him.

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic experience on this historic walking tour in Old San Juan. Our guide, Dr. Jose Morales, was superb, his deep knowledge of Puerto Rico’s history truly brought the city to life in a way that was both engaging and easy to follow. What really stood out was how he connected the past to everyday life on the island. His explanations went beyond dates and events; he shared meaningful insights into how Puerto Rican culture developed, including fascinating details about how local trees and natural resources have been used over time to support the island’s way of life. His personality made the tour even more enjoyable warm, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about what he does. We left feeling not only entertained but genuinely well informed. If you’re visiting Old San Juan and want a richer understanding of Puerto Rico’s history and culture, I highly recommend this tour. It was a highlight of our trip!

5.00This is a great, fun tour that I highly recommend. Very informative with a super friendly guide, Jose. It includes stops in different buildings and museums that would normally require separate tours. It lasts two hours, accommodates 10-20 people, and does include a lot of walking. Well worth the price.

5.00Be prepared to walk and learn! Dr. morales is a phenomenal teacher you don’t even realize the physical aspect, by the end of the tour you want to learn even more!! I recommend starting with this excursion to really appreciate the beauty that is Peurto Rico!!! 20000/10 experience!
