As you relax comfortably on our climate-controlled tour bus, we will take you to the most exciting neighborhoods in Rhode Island’s capital city, and tell you the story of this special place and its most famous citizens. From America’s first hero to the mafia to the mayor, this city is filled with intriguing tales. As we travel from College Hill to Federal Hill, and Brown University to the State House, you will admire the loveliest settings in the city, and discover places you will want to go back to and explore on your own. Along the way, there will be opportunities for you to get out, take pictures, and see things up close. Enjoyed by all ages, get ready for one of the most enjoyable tours you have ever taken!

Driver left early, and we missed our tour. We arrived exactly on time, there should be a general wait period of 5 minutes before the tour bus leaves.

I was advised the morning of the tour that it was canceled due to lack of bookings for it. I was given the opportunity to reschedule for later in the day, but was told it would probably be canceled, too, for lack of other bookings.

We learned a lot about Providence on this tour. Ted was very knowledgeable about the history and facts of the city. He not only talked about our stops but shared history in between the stops. He also had an amazing memory of where his passengers were from and quizzed and scored them during the tour - yea NY! Thanks Ted for a great tour.

Providence is small so you wont see a lot of sites. However, you will learn a lot about the history of Providence.

The tour was a wonderful overview of Providence. Phil, our tour guide, was so interesting and informative. It was easy to see how knowledgeable and passionate he is about Providence. It’s a city that offers beautiful architecture and amazing food. I’ve never been disappointed with Viatour.

Tour on small bus. You do get on and off a couple of times. Small group feel. Guide had a lot of fun stories about history of providence
