5.0This is a great day out from Perth. The trip down the Swan River to Fremantle is leisurely, but the crossing from Fremantle to Rottnest is on the open sea, so rather more “interesting” (rough…!) The round island coach tour was great - air conditioning and back to the main settlement in time for lunch! Would definitely recommend.

5.0The bus trip around Rottness was fabulous. Eli, our tour guide was magnificent. He was very passionate about his job and extremely good at commentary. Meanwhile Con the bus driver ensured we were safe whilst he took us around the Island in comfort.

4.0Day out to Rottnest from Perth with coach tour was great. Crossing smooth on way out but rough on return so beware. Coach guides informative and only a small number aboard so great views. Saw only 1 quokka in the wild but plenty hanging out in the tourist area of shops and picnic benches. Stunning island. Discovering train ride and tunnels was an unexpected treat.

5.0Nice ride on the Swan River and then only 1/2 to Rottnest Island. Malcolm, or guide was great giving us lots of local history. Rottnest had a lot more to offer than I realized.
