Being Asian, I was looking for a tour that didn't overly cater the food to western taste but was still in English. Tour guide Jay did an excellent job and sometimes was flexible to recommend more authentic ways to eat a meal if you're interested (e.g. we ate less meat at the BBQ and he treated us to cold noodle!). Our group ended up being around the same age and Jay was able to cater and make suggested changes to the itinerary (e.g. drop off at Gamcheon instead of back at the hotel in Busan). Activities wise, there was a good mix of cultural and natural sights. As someone who likes natural sights, Suncheonman Bay was the highlight. The cultural mask satire show was important to understand for the era but the humor maybe didn't transcend time. You can walk out early, if your group is ready to leave earlier you can have more time in the village. My only bad experience was the hotel chain Lahan then the tour. As a 4 star hotel I was very disappointed in the care of their facilities. Mildew and mold smell in the bathroom strong enough that I couldn't leave the door open, fingerprints and peeling wallpaper, and outlets not working at the other location. This was not what the other tour guests experienced though. So maybe it was just bad luck for me. But I will never recommend the Lahan chain. Busan hotel for two nights was the highlight! Autumn was not too cold but if you like cherry blossoms sign up fast for March its their most popular time of the year!

We have just completed this tour. It was a fantastic experience for an introduction to Korean culture, food and history. Our guide, Mr Jay, was a very experienced, knowledgeable guide who kept us fully informed of our programme as well as organising our food and driving the whole tour. He was very caring which proved vital as we had some health issues with some of the group. He also seemed interested in each of the group which made for a very happy dynamic. The food was enjoyable and interesting covering all the main food types eaten in Korea. I would thoroughly recommend this tour with as a great value for money experience.

Amazing tour of Korea with an experienced tour guide. Our guide was Mr. Jay, who answered any questions we had and made sure all of us had a great tour. All of the routes were planned in advance to ensure we could see as much as possible within the time of the trip. Even though our tour was seven days, we saw many different sites and enjoyed many types of Korean food. This tour is best for anyone who wants to visit Korea. It was one of my favorite tours.

Great tour of the Korean Peninsula! The trip was very well planned and thought through to ensure an enjoyable experience while exploring Korea. I liked how the itinerary included must see tourist spots but also lesser known local locations to truly experience the Korean culture. Restaurant selections were very well selected with a variety to cover the whole spectrum of types of Korean food. Hotels were all great - clean and comfortable. Jay was our tour guide - he was top notch and a good guy! He was accommodating making sure everyone was comfortable, safe, while enjoying exploring Korea. His experience really showed. He tried to keep things light and he is funny. Highly recommend!
