Discover Scuba Diving is a first introduction into the sport of Scuba diving. You will learn all the basics needed to make a dive safely and enjoy the beautiful underwater world of Jan Thiel Bay. With a maximum group of 4 people and a certified Scuba Dive Instructor you will explore the reef and look for incredible marine life and colorful coral.
At Scuba Do we take pride in our ability to provide you with the best underwater experience possible. Our certified and knowledgable instructors will not only help you learn how to dive, but will also provide you with information about our bay, our reef and all of the marine life that you spot on your dive.

Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you! At Dive Center Scuba Do we offer this program just off the beach, where our qualified instructors will teach you basic safety guidelines, show you how to properly set-up your dive gear and after some underwater exercises and getting used to breathing underwater, will show you around the house reef during your first dive ever! While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. After this dive, you’ll receive a certificate that is valid for two weeks. This time will enable you to make your introduction dive count as the first lesson for your Open Water course, if you decide to continue with an Open Water course or go on another accompanied dive (repeat discover scuba diver).

5.00I was in Curacao on a cruise ship stop and found the beginning dive experience by Scuba Do. Everyone who works with Scuba Do is wonderful, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We had MJ as our dive instructor and she was so patient and easy to work with. Our photographer took the most amazing pics and the guys who drove us to and from the cruise port (Sam and Tom) were also very accommodating and friendly. What an amazing first dive experience for my 2 teens and me. We absolutely loved it and felt well taken care of in capable hands.

5.00This experience was absolutely amazing!!! i have dived before but it was my husbands first time. he was a little nervous about the open water and having trouble equalizing due to sinus issues. our guide, MJ, was awesome. she was close to our age which was cool. she talked us through equalizing, different methods to use & why it's important. we went through the skills necessary to successfully dive & then practiced them along the shallow waters. once we started the dive, the views were breathtaking. we swam through reefs, saw so many fish & got to take some great pictures. they have a photographer that goes along with you to take professional underwater photos, which were really good & well priced. we only bought one but all of the pictures were good. My husband and i are now planning on getting certified!!

5.00After many years without diving I did it again, I was accompanied by AMBER, a total genius. He had patience to explain me and remind me of important tips for diving. Overall the treatment of everyone is very good are very friendly. 100% recommended experience

5.00This was an amazing experience!! Amber our dive instructor was the BEST!! We had a group of 4 with mixed experience levels. My 2 kids (12 &18) had never dove before. My 12yo was a little nervous, Amber gave her all the confidence she needed and did a great job. It was a great intro to scuba diving for them. We highly recommend this dive shop!!!💚

5.00The staff is amazing. I came to curacao thinking I would just try scuba diving. I had hesitations due to some attention problems and anxiety of going under the water. The diver instructor Tom was patient and professional. The first dive sold me into becoming certified during my vacation in curacao. Highly recommended for anyone seeking to try diving. In the last certification dive I saw 11 turtles at la palapa diving site. Worth the trip to curacao in of itself. The intro dive is calming and opens a wold of possibility. Must try it if you are in Jan Thiel.

5.00Amazing experience. I was not going to dive, but my kids wanted to try it for the first time. I did the introduction dive with them and it was awesome. Our instructor, Amber, was a joy. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. We also had Elsa follow us with her camera, and the photos are beautiful. She has a great eye, and I purchased the entire photo session. If you are looking for a wonderful experience, whether a seasoned diver or complete novice, look no further than Scuba Do. Highly recommended.

5.00Today a great Scuba Had a Diving Experience! Led by our Thom, Diving instructor, the best there is! Definitely worth repeating! So much beauty to see underwater, unbelievable. I recommend this to everyone to give it a try and especially at Scuba Do! Super atmosphere and very good instructors! At Thom you are always in the right place as far as we are concerned! We are super proud of Thom and had a great experience.
