The Discover Scuba Diving experience is a non-certification program which allows guests to dive without being certified. The entire experience is held within the private beach of the Caribe Hilton Hotel in San Juan. Instructors will guide participants through a short class on the basics of scuba, a pool lesson and a fun dive. Everything is conducted within the hotel facilities and there is no need to travel to any other location. The hotel beach gives access to a shallow dive cove full of fish and much more.

First portion of the activity is the safety briefing, explaining how all the equipment works and what to expect, once that is completed guest will go into shallow water to practice with the instructor.When everyone is comfortable with the breathing and equipment they are taken on the dive.

5.00Perfect place to try Scuba for the first time. While I was certified 20 years ago, this was my 15 year old son’s first experience and the instructor had him on the water, practicing the skills, and swimming after just 15-20 minutes of introduction.

5.00Luis was our guide… He made the tour worth it. Definitely worth it. He gave us the important things we needed to know and made the tour fun. He even took pics of us underwater. Must try if you’re in San Juan!

5.00Really well-organized and well-run operation. I felt safe trying the discover scuba and had a successful dive! Lots of fish and views of the reef. Worth the money. Would recommend.

5.00This was an excellent experience for my daughter and I. Luis and Alex were fantastic instructors. I wasn’t feeling comfortable at first but with the guidance, encouragement (and a wetsuit thank you so much ) we spent our time exploring and discovering the beauty under the sea! My daughter caught on quickly and talked about it all day. Highly recommend - we will be back 😊 Thank you
