I really enjoyed this private tour of Pula. Dalen grew up in Pula and studies history, so he gives a very informative and engaging tour of his city. He also tailored the tour to my interests, once he learned what brought me to Pula.

Dalen was the most enthusiastic guide for our first visit to Pula. He shared so much history and added lots of personal touches that really brought the city to life. A thoroughly enjoyable 2 hours that covered all of the main sights in Pula. Exceptional value for money and would highly recommend to anyone visiting this lovely old city. Thanks Dalen!

First class tour guide. Dalen has a great relaxed style, informative and engaging with a great sense of humour. He is passionate about his city and it's history. I enjoyed learning about the history and some mythology. Enough time given to see each monument, understand the information and take photographs. Dalen was happy to answer all questions. The walking route itself was mostly flat, some steps but nothing too much. Sone great recommendations for other places to visit, also places to eat and drink. I would highly recommend this tour. Thanks so much for an easy pleasant interesting morning

This tour was provided by a local who is also a history teacher, and you could tell. His knowledge of the history of Pula and Croatia was second to none. We’ve done walking tours in most Croatian cities now, and he was a cut above the rest. You could tell that he was excited and passionate about the local history, so much so that sometimes he just needs to slow down. Great facts mixed with novel stories. Excellent.

Dalen is an inspired Guide with a passion for his city and country. As a history teacher he knows how to tell many interesting stories, but also has fun anecdotes and jokes in store. In addition to historical knowledge about the city, Dalen also knows where to eat or have a drink. We enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it!

The guide, Dalan, speaks excellent English and his profession as a history teacher lends great depth and interest to his stories about the city. We walked to several landmarks, starting with the arena, and had a fulsome explanation of each and the historical context. The 2000 yeat history of Istria is covered on this walk but in an engaging and friendly fashion. It is so much more fulfilling to have this compared to just wandering and gazing. To cap it all Dalan was helpful in recommending dishes and restaurants in the city for us tourists. An excellent couple of hours.
