The medina of Fez can be traveled in the middle of the morning and there would still be plenty of time. This is what the agencies do and the traveler did it on his first visit. In the guided tour of the Medina of Fez we will cross the most important alleys of Fez el-Bali. The Old Medina dates from the eighth century and comprises more than 300 neighborhoods and 9,000 alleys, constituting a network of streets in which only the Fesi know how to orient themselves. Some of the places we will visit during the visit are: Andalusian Quarter Tannery Chouwara Al Karaouine Mosque Bab Bou Jeloud door Mausoleum of Mulay Idrís Seffarine Square Medersa Attarine The various souks of Fez Talaa Kebira and Talaa Seguira Although we will try to make the itinerary as complete as possible, being a private tour, it can always be adapted to your concerns. She was extremely knowledgable and clear with her descriptions of the sites She went out of her way to accommodate our requests. including hiring a car to see some sites outside the city. 5.00Hicham was INCREDIBLE!!!! We were on a time limit and he made it his challenge for us to see as much as possible within the 3 hours. Super knowledgeable as he has lived in Fes his whole life. Fes medina can be very confusing and winding but we felt confident being with Hicham. He took a ton of amazing photos of us and really made a great experience for us for the short about of time we had in Fes.

5.00We took a tour with Civitatis. Punctuality and good communication before the tour of Idrissi, our guide. I treat very nice and close besides speaking good Spanish. It was a tour of just over 3 hours in which he taught us the Medina of Fes that he knows it well because he lives there and for the tourist it turns out to be a maze. We wandered around several corners and there was a coming and going of its people: always very talk and very correct. He took us to neighborhoods that were characterized by the craft of their artisans. As usual he took us to some shops where they explain how some products are made of fabric, argan oil, perfumes, etc. This is the most negative point of the visit because, of course, then they try to sell you the products they have taught you. But positively, you are not overwhelmed or pressured to buy, which is important for the tourist. I think if you don’t want such visits, it’s probably no problem talking to the guide and jumping those points that may not be of interest to you. In short, good experience and good guide that, even after the visit, also guides and helps you if you need it.
Experience needed if you want to enjoy the medina.

5.00My cousin and I just had our tour in Medina Fez, we loved it. Our guide Idriss was great and we enjoyed the tour along the most importants monuments in Fes, he also recommended us some places to eat. 100% recommended.
