  Andi gave us a superb two hour walking tour of Whitehall. He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly and gave us fascinating insights into the buildings and landmarks of Whitehall and their varied history. I recommend this tour very highly.

  It was a rainy November day, and I must admit, the thought of walking around London in the drizzle wasn't appealing. But I'm so glad I went. Andi was our tour guide and he was wonderful. He was friendly and approachable, and it's clear he loves sharing his knowledge with people. He's obviously got both a deep interest in and depth of knowledge about London, and he showed us some of the most interesting parts of Whitehall. Rather than just showing us sights though, Andi was able to explain the context - tying all the things we saw into a story of the history of power in England. We had Charles the First's execution, Henry the Eighth's palaces and dynastic wrangling. We didn't see the current King, but it was drizzling after all. And most wonderful, just as we were looking at Westminster Cathedral, somehow Andi managed to arrange a double rainbow over the Houses of Parliament. Don't know how he did it, but it was true London magic.

  Anyone interested in the history of the monarchy and of London itself needs to take this tour. I learned things about places in Whitehall that I did not know before. The tour was at a comfortable walking pace and there was plenty of time for explanation and questions. Andi is a knowledgeable and personable guide. He knows his stuff. Thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour and highly recommend it. Great fun.

  Instructions on when and where to meet were clear and we met with Andi on time. Our small group of 4 had 3 over 70’s. Andi took us round Trafalgar Square, along Whitehall passed the entrance to Horse Guards parade and Downing Street onwards to the Houses of Parliament, then up through St James’s Park finishing at Buckingham Palace. His tour was paced to suit our group; his talks were very interesting and informative. Although retired many years ago I had worked in London taking so much for granted I learned a lot about the history of the buildings and Royalty etc, how names of buildings and areas were determined. Also learning more about the beginnings of the Civil War. Our group was 4 plus Andi and I found this much better than being in a larger group; I felt we almost had a one to one chat. A worthwhile trip and I will seek out Andi again when next considering a further tour in London. I would recommend this tour (and Andi). Thank you Andi (see you next time)

  Andi guided myself and my husband through storied, historic Whitehall, taking in the original 'islands' of Westminster Palace and Westminster Abbey. Andi was personable, professional and steered his tour extremely well. He brought the past vividly alive as he talked about the execution of Charles 1st and the reluctant anchorite of Westminster Abbey and lost no opportunity to share fascinating explainations with us at every turn. No question phased him and his knowledge was encyclopediac. We would recommend Andi as one of the best guides we have ever had, and we have done upwads of 20 different London tours!

  Andi was wonderfully personable and intimately knowledgeable about the history of Whitehall. Come loaded with questions (myself) or simply eager to learn (my wife) more about the section of London that started as a swamp and grew to become the heart of an Empire. Was sad when it ended but immensely grateful for such an impactful experience! (I took many more photographs but they’re more nuanced, rather than capturing the splendor of the architecture and monuments included)

  Andi is such an intelligent, well rounded, personable, yet professional tour guide. My son and I were the only ones on the tour. Other tour guides might've canceled or tried to reschedule us. He honored our booking with such a sweet attitude! He gave us so much interesting information and hidden little architecture details we surely would've missed! From the theory of C's on the Westminister lampposts to the factual government buildings and how they came to be to royal information.... so much rich history, stories and rumors! Andi added so much to our adventure to London! Thank you, Andi. You're a special gem.

  Andi is full of great stories, accomodating and is very passionate about his city, London. We went to been to both to his Whitehall and his Ghost walk a few months later (the latter one is very good especially as Halloween is approaching now) . Recommend!
