Enjoy a full-day outing where you can appreciate the magesticity of the renowned Uco Valley and the imposing Andean mountain range that emerges from the valley.
We start in the early morning, passing him to look for his hotel to go directly to an incredible viewpoint (Christ the Redeemer of the uco valley), where you can acquire a 360° view of the valley and where you can visualize through the billboard of the place, the different geological and meteorological processes that give this valley the optimal characteristics for making world-class wines. From that point we will leave for the facilities of the family winery La Azul. La Azul is a family-owned winery that produces a limited quantity of the best quality bottles of wine. A tour and tasting will be held in the cellar. Finally we will enter the heart of the Andes by an off road road and cap the route with small trekking between vertical vertical granite walls.

Very punctual pick-up directly from the hotel in Mendoza and then drive to Christ Rey under bright blue skies with fantastic views of the Tupungato (6635m). Afterwards, head straight to La Azul Bodega with delicious wines and delicious hot bread from the oven. We also had the chance to taste young Malbec. The tasting was very generous, so a visit to a second bodega was not necessary. Freshly strengthened, we went to the Andes on the old customs road to Chile with the necessary four-wheel drive vehicle in the direction of Punta Negra (4343m), which actually wears a black cap. An alternative to the 4WD are donkeys/horse tours that we have also seen or met. Don't forget your passport, as there is a border station to pass (our guide had completed the formalities). Be sure to join the offered hike, as it leads to an unmanaged trekking hut on an idyllic stream with great views (with picnic), which is very different compared to Central European mountain huts. Crossing the mountain rivers is very adventurous at times and is a lot of fun as the entertainment value is very high. Quickly such a beautiful day is over, but the alcohol control of the local police on the way back was surprising. By the way, our guide hadn't had any wine. Late in the evening back at the hotel in Mendoza and yes we can recommend this tour gladly.
