5.00The itinerary was well paced. We experienced two wineries - one new and modern, and the other a family owned winery in its 3rd generation. Our guide and driver (Andres) was well informed and readily shared his knowledge of the region, wine making and even a bit of Uruguayan history. We had a leisurely lunch at the second stop that incorporated our wine tasting. We were there during the start of harvest season, and were able to see some of the process. Everything was exactly as described with on time pick up and drop off “door to door”. We were a couple joined by one other traveler who was a warm addition to our small group. Ryan also checked in to ensure everything was going smoothly and sent timely reminders via WhatsApp. In addition to the wine tour day trip, Ryan also offered many helpful suggestions for hotel, restaurants and sites in Montevideo, Punta de Este and Colonia that were all part of our week in Uruguay. His suggestions were spot on, making our experience easy and wonderfully memorable.

5.00Familia Frippe was the best wine tasting experience ever! It was a beautiful vineyard, delicious wine. The owner gave us a the tour and our guide, Andres, was an awesome translator, chauffeur and photographer as well! The lunch was also delicious, especially combined with such tasty wine. Loved it!

5.00This was a great day spent at a beautiful little winery with incredible hospitality, delicious food, and some very nice wines. Our guide Alejandro was excellent and gave us a good history of the area and insight into the wines. The van trip, which took Wright around an hour was very comfortable and an easy ride. Highly recommended.

5.00I approached Ryan to see if I could join a tour as a single traveller in Colonia del Sacramento. They didn’t have anything running but Ryan sent me a whole list of recommendations for restaurants & wine tasting it made me exploring fun & I enjoyed all of the places I tried out. A fabulous service.
Nice experience. Fantastic guide and wine.

5.00Wonderful day trip with Andres as our guide. Really chill, local guide. Perfect English. Picked us up at the port and took us to the Fripp winery. The wine was really delicious, and incredibly well priced ($12USD) bottle. It’s a different experience from other wine tours I’ve been on where you visit several vineyards in a single. It’s just one vineyard with lunch. It’s a little more pricey than group tours I’ve been on previously, but ended up being a private tour and a nice experience.

5.00Andres, our guide, was amazing! He was super friendly and shared tons of interesting information about Uruguay and Colonia del Sacramento on the ride out to the winery. The winery itself was beautiful. You’ll get a brief history of the family (and wine, generally, in Uruguay), a tour, and a tasting. We opted for the lunch add on, which was killer with a super tasty vegetarian option. Ryan was also so great! He was super communicative about the day. And, he helped us get acquainted with Colonia del Sacramento. He sent tons of awesome recs for us to check out while visiting. Highly recommend :)

5.00Our guide was Andres, lovely guy, who shared with us a little history of Colonia while we were going to the wine experience. Once there they tell you the story about the family and the wine business, the making process and finally to the wine tasting, as you enjoy the famous barbaque (parrillada) filled with the best cuts of meat. A definitely MUST DO in Colonia!
