1.00Wish I could say I had a wonderful experience like the other reviews but this wasn’t it. Our guide mentioned to us that he was assigned by the Golden Adventures Qatar and doesn’t normally do this route. We spent the morning driving aimlessly around the city with little commentary on each of the sites (no history of Qatar, the significance of each location, etc.). Our guide was basically a driver and we had to rely on ChatGPT to give us the insights behind each location. The saving grace was the afternoon in the sand dunes / desert where the experience was interesting on its own. Again, our guide had little to offer - furthermore, he seemed very inexperienced driving in the desert and had to tailgate a friend of his for reference. His lack of experience showed when the car wobbled through the dunes - it was a miracle that no incident occurred. Here is what I think what happened: the tour operator oversold the tickets and started passing it onto random 3rd parties that resulted in this suboptimal experience. It’s a shame as I was looking forward to it after reading the glowing reviews. Be warned this could happen to you.

5.00Wadood was an amazing guide and provided an exceptional experience showing me all the highlights of Doha in the city and the desert. He was kind, very knowledgeable and accommodating. Riding over the sand dunes and to the beach was a highlight for me along with seeing the markets at night. Wadood’s also an excellent photographer to help document your entire experience! I would book another trip with him in an instant!

1.00There was ZERO communication, on trip advisory it showed no bookings , there was no way to talk to anyone so I emailed to cancel then the night before it was booked , late at night I get a message saying they were going to pick me up in the morning, I already rebooked with another company by that point but they still took my payment out. This company is a scam , ill have to go through my credit card company to reverse the payment now.

5.00I really loved the combo trip of desert safari and City Tour in Qatar. You get to see the best of Qatar and Doha in one day. Our guide was amazing, took us to the best activities and made the most out of it. The city tour included everything we needed to see. They also offer pickup and drop off at the airport for people in transit. Thank you!

5.00Dune surfing and driving was the highlight of the day. Khan was a great guide. The city was a bit less spectacular but I still enjoyed walking out to get a view of New Doha and the Blue Mosque.
