Half-Day Desert Safari in Qatar is a thrilling adventure that allows you to experience the beauty of the desert landscape and engage in various activities.
Our half day desert safari usually starts with a pick-up from your location in an air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle. You'll then head out of the city and into the desert, where you can witness the vast expanse of golden sand dunes stretching in every direction. Here is what we offer you in a half-day desert safari:
Dune Bashing: Ride over the sand dunes as your skilled driver Manoeuvres the 4x4 vehicle across the rugged terrain.
Sandboarding: Try your hand at sandboarding on sand dunes.
Sunset Views: Witness the breathtaking beauty of the desert at dusk.
Capture stunning photographs as the golden hues bathe the landscape. infants and children are exempted from taking part in specific activities like dune bashing and sand boarding.

Thrilling Desert Safari with a Friendly and Accommodating Driver

4.00We had a fantastic time on this half-day desert safari in Qatar, definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Our driver picked us up right on time from the hotel in a comfortable 4x4. He was calm, friendly, and very accommodating throughout the experience, which made us feel at ease straight away. The dune bashing was thrilling but still felt safe thanks to his skill, and the desert scenery was absolutely stunning, especially as the light started to soften toward sunset. The quad bike ride was a lot of fun and worth trying. Just keep in mind that it takes place within an enclosed track area rather than being a completely free, open desert ride, still enjoyable, but good to know in advance so expectations are set. One small thing to be mindful of: the driver offered headscarves during the trip. When I asked the price, he said it was 15 qatari rials each, so I bought for all of us (family of five). At the end, it turned out to be 50 each. I didn’t make an issue of it as was planning to tip him anyway, but it’s something to double-check clearly beforehand if you want to avoid any unpleasant surprises. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience with great scenery, a lot of adrenaline on the way, and a helpful driver. I would definitely recommend it.

3.00Guide had overslept arrived over an hour late to the agreed meeting point. Only after several attempts at unsuccessful contact he came forward Regardless the tour was great and kept what was promised.

5.00We had such a great day on the Doha Desert Safari! Everything was very well organised, and the whole experience was exciting from start to finish. The dune bashing was thrilling, and the sandboarding was really fun. The desert views were beautiful and made the experience even more memorable. Overall, it was an amazing day and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Doha. Highly recommended! What truly made the experience exceptional was our guide, HAKIM. He was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Hakim ensured we felt safe and comfortable throughout the tour and made sure we had plenty of opportunities to take photos and fully enjoy each activity. Thank you HAKIM!!

5.00AMAZING experience. Price was very good for what you do (we did 2pm to 6pm). Yousaf was an amazing guide! Very skilled in driving fast over the dunes and giving us cool shots of the desert! Holding the falcon and riding a camel was very fun also! (They will take pictures of you with your phone) Because of the time we started (2pm), the sun was setting right at the end of the safari, and we got a full, unobstructed view of the sun as it set. Overall amazing experience.

5.00Great experience! Our driver Shakeel was very good. We did dune bashing, and 4x4 buggy. Really enjoyed it, my 10yo son loved it. We definitely enjoyed it, highly recommend Shakeel as a guide!

5.00If you get Addi as a driver/tour guide, he will give you the best experience. Super friendly, funny and he really knows how to make it a great day for you. Takes care of you to the fullest and fixes everything for you, so you dont have to worry about anything, just enjoy the experience to the max. Recommend to ask for him.

5.00Huge thanks to Jassim, our guide, for making this such a great experience. We spent the day in the sand dunes doing dune dashing, sandboarding, and ATV rides, and it was honestly amazing. Everything was well organized, the views were unreal, and the whole experience felt both exciting and safe at the same time. Definitely a highlight of the trip and something I’d 100% recommend.
