Al Maha Transit Lounge
AI Maha Lounge is located at Terminal 1 (South Node, Level 2). From the Teddy Bear Area, walk straight ahead. Take the lift on the left. The lounge is conveniently located near Gates A, B, and C. Please scan the QR code we sent via email for entry. You can enjoy the services as follows at the lounge: Relaxation areas: There are comfortable seating areas where travellers can unwind before their flight. Food and drink: Guests can enjoy a variety of complimentary refreshments, snacks and meals. Both hot and cold options are available. Beverages: The lounge usually offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Workspaces: Business travellers can find workstations equipped with power outlets and Wi-Fi to help them stay productive. 1.00My QR code wouldn’t work but I had my ticket issued from trip advisor. The man at desk said the I needed the QR code . I messaged trip advisor for the code. While waiting , the man at the counter held my boarding pass and reluctantly let me into the lounge. I was uncomfortable about leaving him my boarding pass and said I’d rather wait and hold onto my pass. The staff at desk were rude and I feel that a solo female traveller I wasn’t treated well. The pass for lounge was expensive and not worth it!! If you’re after a shower there are other areas where you can purchase those and would be better.

1.00Got emailed a bar code ticket that clearly says this is your ticket present to use. My daughter was on her own in doha and they refused entry. They said you need a qr code. After a lot of searching I found a dodgy looking link that goes to an alternative website that gave a qr code. Poor instructions and lots if stress for my daughter.

1.00The green Viatour ticket is worthless nobody wants to see it, The QR code link embedded in the only useful email you get takes you to an external site. This code eventually gets you in, so long as it is live (ie, a screenshot is no good), however the QR code I was sent said “There are currently no available entitlement”. For me I had to call the help line who were not able to send the QR code by WatsApp only again by email, which they did. The lounge itself is not great extremely busy, you queue up to wait, but not as long as Abu Dhabi, and there is a good shower, drinks and food were poor compared to other lounges. Basically there are too many people trying to use the Doha lounge, when you book you think you have a guaranteed space reserved, you don’t, so be prepared to wait and ViaTour as the middle man can do nothing to help apart from send the QR email, they don’t seem to have a direct relationship with the lounges in this region (I had very poor experience in Abu Dhabi).

1.00I accidently put my name for a trip of my son (only first name different). Although Viator promised to reach back to the real provider (you can‘t figure out who this is…) to correct the name many hours before my son was rejected at tje entrance with the lame argument that the first name is wrong. The error was documented and announced way before but not transferred effectively. Money was of course lost!! Service minus 10!!!

5.00We found the lounge to be lovely, plenty of choice for food and drinks and the staff were really friendly. Plates are cleared up straight away and we had no problems getting a seat.

1.00Seriously bad services, I booked flight they give high standards like BA unfortunately no staffs have no clue how to respond people stuck due Qatar flights cancelled and delayed, emigrtion steal my alcohol I bought from duty free by saying not allowed outside airport but they sell all those alcohol black markets to outside as I seen hotel's outside airport have bars open for alcohol. Very stressful experience

4.00So everything was perfect... It is very clean and tidy... But just a shower for such a large lounge is just too little... My husband had to wait at least half an hour

3.00A famous ACDC song is "It's a long way to The Top" and I can tell you after a couple visits to Hamad International Airport it's also a long way to find a beer! After blowing the budget on legroom & beers at Sydney lounge access wasn't in the wheelhouse. So, with an approx. 3 hour wait we went looking thru the terminal at 6am for a beer. Or more precisely, I did. And it was a long way to the top and bottom, and in between till I found success! The airport is modern and very functional with train connections to far gates, a multitude of shops, restaurants, car displays, weird art works and a relaxing garden/forest zone. Oh, as to my quest, we finally found two spots to grab a beer and took out a third mortgage to enjoy same!

5.00My favorite airport because it is so big and beautiful. This airport has a garden for travelers to rest while they are waiting for their flights. This airport have so many restaurants, gift shops, cafe shops, spa, hotel, and other brand name stores such as Dior, Tiffany, Gucci, etc...
