Experience an 8-hour day trip into the remote wilderness of Doubtful Sound, the heart of Fiordland National Park, while nature guides answer questions and point out landmarks. This fiord is home to bottlenose dolphins and fur seals - both are often seen. In season, you may even catch a glimpse of the rare Fiordland crested penguins. Explore Doubtful Sound's vast waterways on board a luxurious vessel. A highlight is experiencing the unique 'Sound of Silence', where you hear only birdsong while floating on the fiord with the engines turned off.

Overall stunning.. I found the bus ride in particular to be just breathtaking! It is a great full-day experience, so if you have the time, go for it!

Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Skilled bus drivers! Take snacks and/or lunch if you don't want to buy the pricey offerings on board. Lucky to see dolphins and have them play and leap in the wake of the vessel.

You’re going to be cold and wet so dress appropriately! But it’s worth it. The moment of silence on the cruise was the best part of the experience where they shut off the boat and had a complete moment of silence. Loved.

Every part of this trip was stunning! Super friendly staff, great commentary, great coffee (reasonably priced food and coffee)

Lovely experience, better than advertised. The sound is hard to access, but they make it wnjoyable alm the way. The staff was very knowledgeable of the environment and were able to show us hidden gems like waterfalls, trees and wildlife. I enjoyed the look of the trees that inspired Peter Jackson to create the image of the Ents. The group was pretty large but didn't feel like it at all: there was plenty of room for everyone and it never felt crowded. The 7-hour duration was a little intimidating at first. But the staff showed heart and love for the land, from the captain to the bus drivers. Lovely crew.

A long day of traveling to get there and back but if you like scenery and boat rides, then this is for you! Beautiful fjord tour culminating with sea lions at the Tasman sea.
