5.00Upon our arrival to Porto, we weren’t sure what type of guide or experience to expect. We ended up being paired with Pedro for 3 full days of private tours - he was absolutely incredible and I cannot say enough good things about this new friend and his significant level of expertise, his passion for the city/people of Porto and his genuine love for his job. My wife and I have traveled the world extensively and have never met someone as tremendous as Pedro - we have become true friends during our visit with him, and look forward to returning to Porto in the future to link back up! Pedro is extremely kind, patient, knowledgeable, funny and comfortable to be around. If you have the opportunity to work with Pedro, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for everything, Pedro! Porto City Tour - An excellent day trip

5.00A group of us from the USA stopped in Porto via cruise line. We did a day trip in Porto City with Pepe Private Tours. The day was great. We were met at the cruise port by our tour guide with a private van for the six of us. We visited key sights of the city. The tour guide was excellent, knowledgeable of the city sights and history. We were also taken to a great luncheon spot (Armazém do Peixe) on the Douro riverfront. Very nice! Overall, a very enjoyable day. Regards, Mister Tom

5.00Our full day tour to the Douro Valley with Francisco was outstanding. There were 3 of us with Francisco in his nice Mercedes. His historical knowledge, attention to details, and welcoming personality were awesome. Personal port wine tasting was very enjoyable. A wonderful day and beautiful valley.

5.00Pedro (Pepe) is just fantastic and I cannot recommend him highly enough. We did a few tours with him, and within moments of meeting, it felt like we were walking around with a friend — a local friend. Pedro has tremendous knowledge across-the-board: history, culture, cuisine, nature, experiences, etc. Importantly to us, he also gave us personal and local expert advice. He pointed us towards local places and experiences (not just the traditional tourist/most popular spots that are often suggested). We learned so much, and had so much fun with and because of Pedro. Our time in Portugal, including time in our own, was made exponentially better because of everything he shared. He also stayed in touch with us throughout to answer questions and give recommendations throughout the country. If you have the opportunity to do any guided tours with Pedro, I so strongly recommend it. It will greatly benefit you and make your stay even more enjoyable, as it did ours. Thank you, Pedro! We can’t wait to come back.

5.00Took a fantastic day trip to the Douro Valley with Pepe! We drove from Porto and stopped at some incredible wineries and a few small towns along the way. A perfect day. We loved Pepe! He’s very friendly and knowledgeable and seems to know just about everyone in Portugal. We highly recommend him for your trip to the Douro Valley.

5.00We had an amazing time with Pepe. He took us to places we never would have found on our own. We hope to go back and have Pepe take us to another area soon! We even ate at an authentic Portuguese restaurant and we toured an old fishing village! We'd recommend Pepe to anyone!

5.00I came across Pedro initially in 2021 between the Covid 19 lockdowns. I travelled to Porto and booked a tour to the Douro Valley. It wasn’t a private tour at this time but there was only me and one other guest on it due to tourism being slow, so it felt private! The tour was exceptional. Pedro knew the best wineries in the region and his knowledge and passion for his country really shone through and further added to this great tour. Since then, I visited Porto a further 8 times - it’s one of those places you really fall in love with. I’ve been back solo many times, as well as with groups of friends. I’ve used Pedro a further 2 times with different friends for a private tour in which he allowed me to also have input on where we wanted to go. He hand picked the most incredible wine estates and it felt really exclusive. He is a natural at what he does. He had such a great rapport with all the staff / owners at each estate we visited too which just goes to show that his personality really is infectious. All my friends agreed that his tour guide expertise was exceptional. I have also had other friends visit Porto and recommended they used Pedro - they did and they too were not disappointed. If you want an affordable private tour with a local who loves Porto so much and is overflowing with knowledge and history, as well as charisma and charm - look no further - you honestly won’t find better. Next time I’m in town I’ll certainly use Pedro again
