As a local, born and raised in Douro Valley, I would love to take you to the authentic Douro Valley visiting family Quintas (Estates/Wineries) that produce wine already for several generations ;
For us the most important in our tours is that you feel welcome and in family, with a maxim of 6 persons ;
Let's visit outstanding viewpoints, taste amazing wines, olive oil, delicious food and enjoy unforgettable moments. We will also do a very relaxing cruise in a traditional Rabelo Boat in Pinhão.
We will start our tour visiting an amazing viewpoint in Douro Valley, São Leonardo in Galafura , next a family (Quinta) winery with award - winning wines in there we will taste Porto wines, table wines and olive oil.
Local gastronomy experience in a restaurant with traditional tasty food ;
Visit to a small Estate / Winery (Quinta) in Douro Valley and taste their wines.
Rabelo boat cruise in Pinhão, a Douro traditional boat
After the boat cruise of 1 hour we will take you back at your hotel

5.00We had a fabulous day with Andreia and Valdemar exploring the Douro Valley. It was lovely to be picked up straight from our hotel and enjoy a great day taking in the beauty of the region in the company of locals! Andreia was so knowledgeable about the area and the history. We had a delicious lunch and enjoyed tasting wine and port at local, family run wineries. We would not hesitate to recommend any tour with them!

5.00We had a fantastic day with Andreia and Valdemar. Andreia was so informative and interesting. We felt relaxed for the whole day and didn't have to worry about anything. Andreia kindly took photos for us at every opportunity. Valdemar had cooled water ready to hand to us when we needed it. We had a lovely local Portuguese lunch with them both which was delicious. The 2 wineries were gorgeous and felt private and authentic. We lost sunglasses on the trip and they even went back to the winery and delivered them to our hotel before we left. We would love to come back and to another tour with them.

5.00Amazing guide Andreia and her partner Valdemar made our day!! Visited couple small wineries and excellent tasting! Delicious portuguese lunch and conversation with fellow clients! Excellent boat ride to finish an already outstanding day!! Thank you Andreia and Valdemar!!

5.00A brilliant tour of the Duoro valley. Andreia and Valdemar were great guides and couldn't do enough for us. It was good to get the perspective of locals, who had spent their lives in the region and could share so much knowledge. We went to some beautiful viewpoints, where we got the chance to enjoy the views of the river and valley. We visited two small family run Quintas where we learnt about the wine and porto production and had the chance to taste various tasty wines and ports. Lunch was in a local restaurant, where we got the chance to try many traditional local dishes (and some more wine). The tour ended with a boat trip from Pinhao and a visit to the lovely tiled station. Would highly recommend!

5.00This day wine tour of the Douro with Andrea and Valdimer is an absolute must do. They are so knowledgeable about the history of the region and the wines. The vineyards, lunch and river cruise were over the top. Please do yourself a favour and book with Andrea.

5.00Andreia and Valdemar were amazing guides! As a local, Andreia is highly knowledgeable about the region and proud of her culture. We loved the personal touch she brought to the tour! The tastings were at small, family-owned quintas with excellent wine and passionate owners. We also had a delicious Portuguese lunch at a local restaurant. Along the way, we stopped at beautiful viewpoints, and we ended the day with a relaxing boat ride on the river. If you're looking for an authentic experiences in the Douro Valley, this is the tour for you!

5.00We were able to spend a great, interesting, informative and fun day that day thanks to Andreia and Valdemar. It was very interesting what we could learn about the Douro Valley and the wine and port. The visit to the two wineries was very warm and also the lunch tasted very good, unfortunately was just a little too much. Unfortunately we only spent two days in the valley, so this tour was ideal for us.

5.00Andreia (guide) and husband Valdemar (driver) delivered an excellent tour experience capturing the essence of the people and history of Douro Valley. Highly recommend this tour. Andreia was warm, caring, informative, captivating, enthusiastic. Never a dull moment. Organization of tour was very comfortable and thoughtful. Kudos to Valdemar’s skillful driving on Douro’s scary roads. Andreia brought to life Pinhão’s train station tiles. The calm beauty of the river cruise belied the historic struggles of labor and corporate greed. The two winetastings were excellent choices. They were informative, entertaining, personable. Lunch’s Portuguese comfort foods were some of the best ever. Don’t miss this tour. Five stars hands down.
