5.00This tour was more than what we expected… Megan our guide was fantastic… Knowledgeable, friendly and upbeat. Blenheim Palace is an absolute treasure. Seeing the Cotswolds with an experience guide, who knows both English history and Downton Abbey back stories was a real treat.

5.00Manon was an outstanding guide—she was clearly knowledgeable and passionate about her subject. Additionally, she had a sense of humor and was good natured and considerate in dealing with the tour group Clive was an outstanding driver manouvering narrow, tricky roads. He was timely in being at the pickup locations and was cordial in dealing with the group. As we were all together for a long day of travel, Manon and Clive were perfect guides. A fantastic day.

Blenheim Palace entry and Cotzels and Bampton

4.00First, we stayed at Blenheim Palace for two hours, including entry, and enjoyed it slowly using a Japanese guide. The second, Stowe-on-the-Wold, was a little more than an hour's walk on its own, giving us time to relax in a cafe. At Bampton, on the edge of Downton Abbey at the end of the day, we had access to St Mary's Church and enjoyed the cityscape a bit. It was a tour in English, but my guide Angela was very kind and helpful in helping me understand the re-assembly. Next time I want to take a tour of Highclere Castle entrance.

4.00Really enjoyed the commentary from our knowledgeable tour guide Angela! Blenheim Palace and its grounds were a thrill to explore. Loved seeing all the Downton filming sites in Bampyon. The day was overall well-placed though we could’ve used an extra half hour in Stow-on-the-Wold as we had to fit lunch in which left little time to explore. Great driver, Indy!

4.00Be careful of time. A lot to see. Palace lacks sign to warn if you walk around formal garden up to Italian garden, you can't exit to car park that way. One can underestimate the amount of time it will take to get to the bus. Manon and Nathan were great!

5.00Megan was our tour guide, and she was charming and outstanding! Lots of interesting commentaries and just the right amount of talk on the bus during a long day. The Cotswolds were beautiful and charming-we stopped at Bampton where much of Downton Abbey was filmed and at Stow on the Wold. Many exhibits were set up at the palace, so we didn't get to see as many rooms as we expected, but the ones we did see were beautiful. We had a delicious lunch at The Porch House in Stow which claims to be the oldest pub in England. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you can have Megan as your guide. Michael Angelo was a safe and courteous driver.

5.00Well planned and timed. Excellent guide Megan and driver Michaelangelo made every effort to make our tour excellent. Everything ran on time, good commentary and good driving. Bus was comfortable.
