Our first stop kicks things off in classic Denver style at Marco’s Coal Fired Pizzeria Ballpark, just steps from Coors Field. Marco’s is more than a local favorite—it’s Denver’s only AVPN-certified Neapolitan pizzeria, meaning its dough, sauce, and toppings meet the same exacting standards you’d find in Naples, Italy. The coal-fired ovens burn at over 1,000 degrees, giving every pie a blistered crust, smoky aroma, and perfectly chewy bite. This spot has earned national recognition, but the vibe stays warm and welcoming, with a menu that celebrates both Italian tradition and Colorado flair. Guests get a chance to taste their signature pizzas—think fresh mozzarella and San Marzano tomatoes—and learn how a Denver pizzeria earned Italy’s highest stamp of approval. 5.00What an experience! Beautiful weather, an extraordinary city, and scrumptious food. We could tell this was going to be a special treat just by speaking with the fun and adventurous co-tour members at the meeting point. Guide, Dan Ennion, was delightful, charming, and very knowledgeable. The pièce de résistance? At the end of the tour Dan gave everyone restaurant recommendations based on their answers to his icebreaker question, “what’s your favorite food?” Highly recommend, would go again in a second 🩵

5.00Zach was out guide. Very fun entertaining and enthusiastic about his hometown Denver. He made the tour light and fun. Shared a great amount of knowledge. Definitely recommend.
If you're a foodie, this tour is a MUST at the start of your vacation!!!

5.0010 out of 10...I'm a traveler who judges my experience by #1 hotel accommodations & #2 FOOD! So, Denver has outdone themselves in both categories for me! I made the mistake of booking the Downtown Denver Food Tour on our last day instead of the 1st day of the trip! Barry, our tour guide, was phenomenal! We got way more than a taste of 5 food establishments! He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of each of the 5 places we visited as well as the history of EVERYTHING else along the way! I would absolutely recommend this food tour, Barry specifically, and will definitely look him up when I visit again. That man has connections as well!!!

5.00Outstanding guide and delicious bites and drinks! What more can you ask for! All within a good walking distance of all of the restaurants and our guide told us a lot of history and interesting information. I don’t remember his name, but we took the tour on 11/9 at 1 pm.

5.00We did a food tour with Delicious Denver Food Tours and it was AWESOME! We ended up being the only two on the tour, and honestly it made the experience even better. I was a little worried it might feel awkward or quiet, but our host, Berry, was fantastic. He kept the conversation flowing, shared so much interesting history and local insight, and gave us great recommendations for other spots to check out in Denver. The food stops were top notch — every stop was delicious and thoughtfully chosen. We left full, happy, and very impressed. I would definitely love to try some of the other tours they offer next time we’re in Denver. Highly recommend this company and definitely ask for Berry if you can — he was amazing!

5.00We have done food tours in Boston, Charleston, Chicago, San Diego and even in Banff, Canada...... this Downtown Denver Food Tour was by far the best one we have been on! Our guide, Austin, was a great communicator and had so much knowledge of the history of the area to share with us. His personality was an added bonus that made the food tour not only a A+ but an "A++"!!
