Our first stop kicks things off in classic Denver style at Marco’s Coal Fired Pizzeria Ballpark, just steps from Coors Field. Marco’s is more than a local favorite—it’s Denver’s only AVPN-certified Neapolitan pizzeria, meaning its dough, sauce, and toppings meet the same exacting standards you’d find in Naples, Italy. The coal-fired ovens burn at over 1,000 degrees, giving every pie a blistered crust, smoky aroma, and perfectly chewy bite. This spot has earned national recognition, but the vibe stays warm and welcoming, with a menu that celebrates both Italian tradition and Colorado flair. He was friendly and knowledgeable and kept us on schedule for tastings in several neighborhood areas of downtown Denver that I may not have been able to explore on my own in 3 hours. He explained the rehabilitation & renovation efforts of downtown in the last 20-30 years and the redevelopment is impressive! I liked tasting several foods and Austin explained the restaurants history and the food intention and made me and the other couple feel welcome. Highly recommend this experience that included learning and seeing the beauty of a downtown city. Each stop was unique!

5.00Austin was our guide. He was knowledgeable about the redevelopment of downtown Denver, the neighborhoods we walked through, the restaurant tastings and made me and the other couple feel welcome. I loved that we learned a lot of the area that I would not have done on my own. Downtown Denver rehabiliation and redevelopment offers so much exploration. Ending at Union Station was the best!

5.00The downtown food tour was a lot of fun!! We had a small group which was very Interactive and enjoyable. Our guide "D" was full of information about the restaurants we visited as well as the city and local history. My wife and I had a great time and would definitely recommend.

5.00What a wonderful experience! We started off at Marcos Coal Fire Pizza ( parking was easy as I pre booked a spot on SpotHero) and ended at Union Station for the most delightful dessert! Our guide Eva was fantastic! 10/10!
