  We had an amazing day trip from Brașov to Bucharest with Alin. He provided fabulous information about Bran Castle (Dracula’s) and Peleș Castle, along with bringing Romania’s history to life with his knowledge and enthusiasm. Absolutely outstanding experience—highly, highly recommend!

  Alin collected us from our hotel in Bucharest at 7am and returned us 13 hours later after a very full and enjoyable experience. He was a very friendly and helpful guide and selected the itinerary such that we avoided the tour buses and associated queues at each venue We went to Peleş castle first. Alin joined the front of the queue whilst we wandered the grounds. This enabled us to be the first entrants and we were able to experience the entire castle without being interrupted or jostled by other visitors. We then moved on to Bran Castle which is different from Peleş castle which was again worth a visit. Again we avoided the coach parties making the experience more enjoyable Finally we drove to Braşov arriving around 3pm. Alin walked us into the main square recommended several lunch options and left us alone. We met up with him again around 5pm before returning back to Bucharest Alin was a great tour guide with such a lot of local knowledge and he certainly made the day very memorable for both of us.

  Our tour guide, Paul, was personable and knowledgeable. The stairs up to the top of Bran’s castle could be challenging because of the number and unevenness of the steps and extremely narrow inside walkways. Still, an unforgettable experience.

  Alin was a great tour guide with lots of tips, history, stories and interesting information. We were two and were in a comfortable SUV all day long. He communicated when he arrived at the hotel and where he would pick us up and drop us off for each stop.   We had a wonderful day trip from Bucharest to Transylvania, thanks to our driver/guide who was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He really brought the history of the region to life and made us feel very welcome. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the car was quite old and lacked the comfort we expected for a private day trip. Additionally, because of the snowy weather, the guide frequently had to use a de-icing spray on the windshield from inside or through the vents, which created a very strong chemical smell in the cabin. Overall, the human element of the tour was 10/10, but a more modern and comfortable vehicle would have made the long drive much more enjoyable.

  Our day trip was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Each stop had its own charm — the elegance of Peleș Castle, the mystery surrounding Bran Castle, and the vibrant streets of Brașov — but what truly elevated the entire experience was our tour guide, Tavi. Tavi was excellent throughout the day. He blended deep historical knowledge with a friendly, easygoing style that made every moment engaging. Whether he was explaining the royal history behind Peleș, unraveling the legends of Dracula at Bran, or pointing out hidden gems in Brașov, he always had something insightful to share. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that enthusiasm made the trip even more memorable. If you’re considering this tour, go for it — and if you’re lucky enough to have Tavi as your guide, you’re in for a truly exceptional experience.

  This was a private tour so the guide/driver makes you or breaks you. Alim was super. He was very cooperatove and accommidating.

  We had an amazing day on this tour, and a huge part of that was our guide, Alin. He was absolutely fantastic and really made the whole experience. His knowledge of Romania was incredible, and he was able to answer every question we threw at him with ease. The itinerary was perfect — we visited Peleș Castle, Bran Castle, and Brașov — and Alin helped us at every stage, from giving great local tips to helping with tickets so everything ran smoothly. He was also very flexible with timings, which made the day feel relaxed rather than rushed. The car was comfortable, and after such a full day I ended up sleeping the entire journey back — always a good sign! This tour took all the stress out of the day and let us just enjoy the experience. I can’t recommend Alin enough — truly an amazing guide and an unforgettable trip
