Isfiya - that village is a cultural mosaic by itself. Get familiar with the Druze culture in ''Druzeland'', hear the history of the Druze people, and reveal the secrets of their religion. The tour will cover the old village center, the Olive press, the site of the discovery of 2 ancient treasures that reveal the unique connection between the Druze and Israel. We will also pay a visit to the Druze cemetery while hearing about the their unique approach to life, death and reincarnation.
2 sisters that broke the glass ceiling, will demonstrate the Druze life in the past, tell us about the unique status of women in the Druze culture, and share their personal stories on that subject.

5.00On the last weekend of the calendar year, we took a getaway to Haifa with friends and family, and the decision to join "The Yellow Hat" tour in Daliyat al-Karmel was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip. The tour was led by the wonderful Evelyn, who masterfully created a fascinating culinary-cultural experience that perfectly blends flavours, stories, and authentic atmosphere. As a longtime enthusiast of food tours both in Israel and around the world, I can say with complete confidence: this is the most diverse, delicious, and captivating tour I've ever experienced. Every stop was selected with exceptional care – you can feel that Daniel and Evelyn know every corner, every family, and every recipe in Daliyat. This isn't a tour that simply hits "the famous spots," but rather an intimate and personal experience that reveals the true soul of the place. The flavours were an explosion of aromas and spices, and the stories that accompanied each bite transformed the food into something far more profound. 5.00The tour was led by Daniel from which we learned a lot about the history of the Druzes, about the blood/life connection between the witness and the Jewish people and Israel. We made a tasting tour with delicious cookies and tea, with Druzi sushi, with warm and delicious salads, with a special flap - we drank with a special canoe. The end of the tour was the colour house where we watched the video, we walked around the house and held a fascinating conversation with the artist...

Our guide shared personal stories from local residents, including small-business owners and the tour operator himself. Along the way, we sampled delicious dishes that perfectly captured the flavors of the village. Strolling through the bustling streets with open shops and wandering into a beautifully preserved, colorful old neighborhood made us feel immersed in daily life. Overall, highly recommended, just make sure you arrive with an empty stomach!

5.00What a positive and wonderful surprise! We are a group of some 30 people, socializing once a month to hear interesting lectures and often combine it with an enriching tour. Daniel (the tour guide) proposed to visit the nearby Druze village of Isfya, to learn about their history, and religion and taste their unique cooking. Daniel is knowledgeable and well-prepared, and his close interaction and relationships with the local community are amazing. The tour was well-balanced, we heard a short lecture presented by a local, emancipated, Druze lady, and continued to see the local village and its 1000 years of history, including an old mosaic of an ancient synagogue, enjoyed the view and the people, and concluded in an amazing house/restaurant of Rima and her husband who are wonderful people and exquisite cook. I am sure we will use Daniel as a guide soon.
