Embark on a journey through time in a historic setting, as the intriguing tale of Irish whiskey is revealed. Learn about its rise to glory, its dramatic fall and of course, its current revival. Experience a story never told before in such a unique setting, during an hour-long interactive experience. Daily guided tours unveil the humble beginnings of Irish whiskey, when a foul tasting liquid was used to ease the woes of a troubled and poor nation. Known originally in Gaelic as uisca beatha, over time it was translated to whiskee, and then to whiskey, as it is known today. Enjoy listening to entertaining storytellers as they take you through the magical tale. At the end of the tour there’s a generous whiskey tasting led by experienced master whiskey tasters, giving you the opportunity to sample a range of excellent Irish whiskeys and learn the subtle differences between them, discovering the unique flavours locked inside.

5.00A satisfying way to cover an hour or so from your day. I thought I knew about Irish whiskey but I learned a lot more. My guide, Keith was fantastic, explaining the process and the history of the beginnings of whiskey. He certainly knew his stuff The tastings were good as well. I've had many Irish whiskeys but had the opportunity to sample others. A truly interesting and educational event. A must do if your a whiskey drinker or just curious.

5.00A wonderful tour. You wonder how they make it work in such a small space but the tour moves through several rooms and gives a great overview of the history of Irish Whiskey. Daniel was a great storyteller and the theatrical effects really added to the tour. The tasting was a lot of fun as well. Small groups which was nice. No more than a dozen.

5.00Amazing and fun! Had my 1 year old daughter with us and Linda was so accommodating and very considerate as my daughter was sleeping on me. History was presented in a fun and funny way. We had lots of Crack (if you know, you know and you will know if you come here 😉) Highly recommend this spot! Linda was absolutely amazing!
