Learn how to make a sterling silver ring from scratch, with our AWARD WINNING EXPERIENCE! Start off by marking your silver to the length you require by choosing which finger you would like it on. Then, you'll use a handsaw to cut it to size, you'll learn how to form the ring, using a mallet to shape it to the ring mandrel. You'll watch as it is soldered in front of you by an expert tutor—all the time, she will explain exactly what she is doing. Then you'll learn to file it by using different hand files—this is fun, as it is when you get to individualize your ring, deciding what curve you would like it to have. This can make a great difference to the end result. Next, you'll choose from three very different textures. You get to use your creativity with the planishing hammer to achieve the texture you require. People love this part as it's when you make your ring truly individual. Finally you get to choose your polish - polished only on the inside, to give it an artistic/rustic look or the glittery sparkle of a fully polished ring. It's your decision. Then the best bit—you get to keep your ring! It's the ultimate souvenir for remembering your trip to Ireland!

5.00Truly the best experience. The guides were passionate about their jobs and wildly friendly. Truly the most wonderful welcoming crew. Cannot say enough good things! I’m so grateful I stopped. I am solo traveling and it was my favorite stop so far.

5.00We had so much fun learning to make the rings! They walk you through the process so well and make it fool proof, but it’s still uniquely your own. They were so fun and helpful. We love our rings so much. Wonderful souvenir.

5.00The perfect family activity with older kids! The studio instructors were so helpful and welcoming and it was a really fun way to spend time together and create a memorable souvenir from our trip. After a week of exploring and driving around Ireland, it was nice for our teens to have a focused activity that was different from sightseeing. Our son and daughter both loved it (as did we)!

4.00Booked the third time, took the third ring. So far - so good... But: If I compare the individual bookings, this was the absolute worst experience! It seemed rushed, hardly anything we could finish alone in peace. Again and again the things were taken out of our hands for improvement and faster finishing. After about an hour, we stuck on the road again with the rings on our fingers. That was a shame. But overall still a recommendable experience

5.00Silver Works ring forging was so much fun! We learned how to forge and got to take home a beautiful silver ring. Luke was our instructor and he was so personable and fun to learn from. I highly recommend this activity.

5.00We booked the forged ring class. Our instructor was very sweet and helpful and explained everything we needed in step by step time. She was very thorough and helpful. We really enjoyed making our own beautiful rings! I would highly recommend this one of a kind experience in Dublin.
This was so fun! Would book again in a heartbeat!

5.00I loved this experience. Our teacher, Pamela, was so helpful and great at instructing and giving us any help we needed. She showed everything step by step and made it seem very easy. It was so cool to be able to take a strip of metal and two hours later have made it into a gorgeous ring! I would definitely do this again!
