Together we’ll take a stroll through the streets of Dublin and explore some of the incredible figures of Ireland’s Queer History.

From Irish revolutionaries to civil rights agitators, pride March pioneers to gender identity trailblazers; the Dublin Queer Tour is an exploration of Ireland’s incredible LGBTQ+ community, and the rich history of their story.

Ireland has come a long way in advancing equal rights for the LGBTQ+ community, and there is much to be celebrated, so join us for this Queer Dublin tour to learn more about the struggles and triumphs.

Deirdre was a great tour guide! Truly compassionate and a wellspring of historical lgbtq knowledge. I was the only one on the tour but she made it so nice.

such a cool tour!! highly recommend. the tour takes you to popular tourist sites but gives you stories you wouldn't hear anywhere else.. and great company!

I had such a great time on the LGBT historical walkthrough with Deidre! She was super attentive and shared amazing details at every stop that really brought the history to life. She was also really thoughtful—when some people on the tour wanted coffee, she happily worked a stop in for them. On top of that, she gave us tons of recommendations for things to do around Dublin, which was so helpful. Deidre is patient, kind, and clearly knows her stuff. If I have friends visiting Dublin, I’ll definitely be recommending her as their guide!

Great way to see the city! Deirdre was very knowledgeable and just a lovely person in general and her admiration and compassion for the queer people and activists she told us about was tangible, that made the experience extra special!

Deidre gave us a highly informative and energetic tour, with insights into both the LGBTQ and women’s rights movements as well as Irish history more generally. It is a well thought-out route, traversing a lot of Dublin City Center venues you would cover on a more generic tour. And it is a small group experience, which is a nice change from mass tours. I’d recommend it to anyone! Great experience.

Very nice and inspired guide. A lot of knowledge, was born and raised in Dublin, so can also tell from the inside what it was like for her. Go only if the subject touches you. Not for general information about Dublin.
