Depart Dublin travel by luxury coach to Belfast for a political black cab tour, followed by a trip to the Giant’s Causeway and Dunluce Castle. From the comfort of your black cab, tour Northern Ireland's capital, see the landmark sites including the Falls and Shankill neighbourhoods. Stopping at various locations and sign the Peace Wall, learn of Belfast’s tragic political history.
After departing Belfast we travel through the county of Antrim onto the spectacular Antrim Coastal route. Our next stop is the world famous Dun Luce Castle. Admission is included with a visiting time of 30 minutes.
We then proceed just down the coastal road to the Giant’s Causeway (lunch options available there). Explore its dramatic cliffs and rock formations with a visiting time of 2 hours.
Head for home, with lots of fun on the way and a designated rest stop.

Departure point times and locations are: 7 AM at The Starbucks Cafe on 1 College Green 7:05 AM at Dublin Bus Office, 59 O’Connell Street, Dublin 1 Please make sure you get to the meeting point at least 10 minutes early. We cannot wait for any latecomers.
Shankill Road
Next on the tour is the visit to an area of Belfast City known as the Shankill. During the "Troubles" the Shankill was a centre of loyalist paramilitary activity, where the modern Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) and Ulster Defence Association (UDA) had its genesis. Loyalist paramilitary groups pledging allegiance to the British monarchy and to maintaining the partitioned 6 counties of Ireland known as Northern Ireland within the United Kingdom. Similar to the Falls area the Shankill is adorned with huge murals celebrating historical events, honouring people from the past some of whom from the local community. At all stops during the, in total, 90 minute tour our guests have ample opportunity to capture amazing images of the world’s largest outdoor art gallery. There will be lots out time spent out of the cab, the group size is so small the tour will be a very personalised experience. Your guide has personal stories and folklore to share.

5.00It's an early morning and a long day but it's worth it. Our kids are 7 and 10 and they absolutely loved this tour. We took the cab tour through Belfast and our driver was really kind and shared his story in a kid conscious way. We also absolutely loved exploring the Castle, and the Giants Causeway. If you aren't sure which trip to take; I recommend this one! I also recommend the pick up at Starbucks so you can grab a coffee and breakfast for the early morning ride.

5.00Amazing day trip from Dublin! Una, our guide, was sweet, knowledgeable, and full of fun stories—and even hosted a trivia game on the way home. Krishna, our driver, was smooth, safe, and friendly, making the journey relaxing and enjoyable. The Black Cab tour in Belfast was a standout—seeing Unionist and Nationalist neighborhoods while learning about the city’s history and politics gave us a real sense of Belfast beyond the usual sights. Dunluce Castle was charming, but the Giant’s Causeway was unforgettable. The rock formations are incredible, and we had plenty of time to explore and take photos. Well-organized, fun, and educational, this tour was a perfect mix of history, scenery, and local culture. Huge thanks to Una and Krishna for making it such a memorable day—I’d highly recommend it!

5.00This was a great trip and it’s given from a reluctant group tour patron. I’m very wary of group travel but this was the absolute perfect combination of explanation, background music, and time at each stop. We learned quite a bit but in relatable bits with a good combo of serious and funny. I always worry about the time required to get everyone on and off a bus- (hate to wait!!) - but it was never an issue. The Black Cab tour, while political, was as a complete eye opener. We had time at Dunluce Castle and didn’t blow away even in strong winds. There was plenty of time at the Causeway to look around and hop on the rocks for photos and have a delicious lunch. All in all…. I HIGHLY recommend this tour.
This is a long tour but a must see if you can spend a full day.

5.00Expert trip leader. Bus driver was outstanding (narrow country roads). Black cab tour of Belfast was excellent. Lots of stops for bathroom breaks. Our bus did not have a bathroom.

5.00Una was a fantastic guide! Colin was the bus driver and we felt safe and taken care of. Una shared a multitude of history with us including personal accounts of growing up in Belfast during “The Troubles.” To top it off she had a great sense of humor.

5.00A must-see tour. The tour includes Belfast, the Giant's Causeway and other places. The landscapes are incomparable and unmatched, really a spectacle of nature that should not be lost for any reason. Everything on the tour is worth it. The tou I did with McCools and particularly with Mark and Rajeev who were excellent both as a guide or driver, respectively.

5.00A great day trip with Wild Rover. Everything was perfectly organized from pick-up to drop-off. The bus was modern and comfortable. A huge shoutout to our guide, Steve, who kept us entertained all day with his humor and local insights. He and Peace( driver) made the long drive feel short and was very professional.
