Barack Obama Plaza visitor centre
Our first stop is the famous Barrack Obama Plaza, a must-visit landmark in Ireland. This isn’t just any service station—it’s THE service station, built in honor of former U.S. President Barack Obama, whose ancestors hailed from nearby Moneygall. Here, you can grab a quick bite, stock up on snacks, or snap a selfie with the Obama statue before continuing your adventure. Don’t miss the quirky Conan O’Brien Air Pump, named after the legendary talk show host following his visit!
Upon departing Barrack Obama Plaza the coach will drive past the ancient cities of Limerick and Ennis as-well as drive for a brief few moments underneath the widest and longest river in all Ireland; the majestic River Shannon. Shortly after the Shannon we will past by Bunratty Castle and begin to traverse the winding roads of County Clare, home of the Cliffs of Moher. Ennistymon is a rite of passage for anyone taking a coach tour to the Cliffs of Moher for it is home to the dreaded ‘Kissing Corner of Ennistymon’ known across the west of Ireland for the difficulty some drivers have with navigating one of the tightest turns in the entire island! With our drivers however you will see what a real professional driver can do as they’ll sail right through no matter the conditions. Make sure to hold your breath and don’t forget to applaud your driver when they take you around this turn towards adventure.
Cliffs of Moher tour open seat: Choose this option for open seating on the coach. Seats are allocated based on the order of arrival.

The tour guide, Peter and the driver, Tomas, were wonderful. Peter showed us the sights and shared history, tidbits, and local lore with everyone on the bus on the way to the Cliffs. Burren was very interesting, too, to be able to set foot on those rock formations and see the cracks in the ground. We had beautiful weather for the views all along the Cliff walk! Peter was cordial and courteous and made the trip fun!

It was a lovely tour through the Irish countryside. After being in Dublin for a while, the rolling green pastures were a breath of fresh air. The Cliffs of Moher are unparalleled and offer an amazing view of the Atlantic. Try to go on a day with good weather. Our tour guide Carol was a lovely storyteller and really tried to prioritize our enjoyment of the trip. A lovely day for everyone.

Overall it was a great experience. The bus was clean and Noshad, our driver, got us everywhere safely. Our tour guide Mac was funny and informative and kept the long rides entertaining.

Guide very disorganized. Pointed out a lot of castles, historic things of significance after we’d already passed them. Seemed hard for him to finish a thought. Used the “F” word a few times which I found extremely offensive. Played music very loud , most of which had nothing to do with Ireland. Couldn’t wait to get off the bus as it was a painful experience
