Arriving in Galway, you’ll have 2 hours to soak in the vibrant culture, explore its lively streets, and enjoy the city’s rich history.

Galway is planned as the last stop before returning to Dublin, but this is not guaranteed as the itinerary may change depending on traffic and weather conditions.
For travelers wishing to stay in Galway, this is a great option! Just check with your guide in the morning, and you are welcome to bring your luggage along.
The bus will not wait for late passengers, even if they call ahead. Please be punctual.
If passengers are intoxicated at any stage of the tour they will not be allowed on/back on the bus.
The pick up point is in the City Centre so there is no parking available for passengers to leave their cars for the entire day.
Use the bathroom prior to coming to the pick up point. (There is a bathroom on the coaches but not recommended to be used while travelling)
Bring a packed lunch and also wear comfortable clothing, comfortable shoes as well as a rainproof jacket.

Barack Obama Plaza visitor centre
Our first stop is the famous Barrack Obama Plaza, a must-visit landmark in Ireland. This isn’t just any service station—it’s THE service station, built in honor of former U.S. President Barack Obama, whose ancestors hailed from nearby Moneygall. Here, you can grab a quick bite, stock up on snacks, or snap a selfie with the Obama statue before continuing your adventure. Don’t miss the quirky Conan O’Brien Air Pump, named after the legendary talk show host following his visit!
Upon departing Barrack Obama Plaza the coach will drive past the ancient cities of Limerick and Ennis as-well as drive for a brief few moments underneath the widest and longest river in all Ireland; the majestic River Shannon. Shortly after the Shannon we will past by Bunratty Castle and begin to traverse the winding roads of County Clare, home of the Cliffs of Moher. Ennistymon is a rite of passage for anyone taking a coach tour to the Cliffs of Moher for it is home to the dreaded ‘Kissing Corner of Ennistymon’ known across the west of Ireland for the difficulty some drivers have with navigating one of the tightest turns in the entire island! With our drivers however you will see what a real professional driver can do as they’ll sail right through no matter the conditions. Make sure to hold your breath and don’t forget to applaud your driver when they take you around this turn towards adventure.

5.00This bus tour was an absolute highlight of our trip, all thanks to Rowen. Rowen was incredibly funny and kept everyone entertained from start to finish. Rowen sharp humor and deep, impressive knowledge of the area, sharing fascinating facts and history without ever sounding like a textbook. The pacing was perfect, the energy was high, and we left both laughing and genuinely informed. I highly recommend taking a tour with Rowen to anyone looking for a memorable and engaging experience.

5.00Tour took place 5/19/26 and was absolutely FANTASTIC. Delaney was my tour guide and Ana was my bus driver. Both were so kind and helpful. I felt safe the entire tour and learned so much about Western Ireland, Galway, and the Cliffs of Moher. While an all day tour can be long, my husband & I felt like we had adequate amount of time at all stops! Delaney made the day so fun and we had lots of time to nap along the way. I would highly recommend this tour and will be taking other Finn McCool tours on our return!

5.00Delaney was our guide and Ana was a driver. The trip was great. Delaney told us a lot of interesting history facts and we had a chance to see all the best parts of the coast. It was awesome!

5.00Tony was great! Funny, sarcastic, and with a bunch of interesting history facts. I also loved how he included music - Tony would tell us stories about Ireland and places we visited and then play us some music of Irish musicians - often corresponding to what he was talking about. The ride wasn't boring because of that. Every minute of the trip was used. The places are worth of recommendation too - especially Kaer Moher, beautiful place - Galway? So so. Anyway, the trip is worth taking, especially with Tony as a guide :)
