Be careful about which guide you get. Ours had a lot of strongly-held opinions and addressed us like we were at a radical political meeting. Opinions are fine but his knowledge was a bit sketchy and often factually incorrect. The driver was great and most of the stops worthwhile.

You are on a bus for anywhere between 8 and 9 hours of the trip. We left Dublin at 7AM. We traveled for about an hour and stopped at a mobbed gas station/rest stop for 15 minutes. And by mobbed, I mean you couldn’t move inside. Back on the bus and we arrived at Cliffs of Moher at 11:00. They gave us till 12:45 to be back on the bus. The Cliffs of Moher was spectacular. Beautiful scenery. It also was mobbed. Back on the bus at 12:45 and onto Galway. Again, beautiful scenery as you drive along the coast. If you can, make sure your seat is on the left side of the bus (facing forward) as that’s the ocean view side of the bus. We arrived in Galway at 2:55. They gave us 2 hours in Galway. We hadn’t eaten all day so we found a pub and had something to eat. Again, Galway was mobbed. Shoulder to shoulder looking for a place to eat. After we ate we walked around and went into some shops. Back on the bus at 5:00 and back to Dublin with another 15 minute stop at a ridiculously mobbed gas station/rest stop. We arrived in Dublin around 7:50. So you spend 13 hours and get an hour and 45 minutes at the Cliffs of Moher and 2 hours in Galway fighting mobs and shopping. The Galway part of the excursion was definitely not worth it. It was just another way to get tourist money. If you want to see the Cliffs of Moher do a trip just to there and come back. Skip Galway altogether.

Very windy and cold for some even in the summer. We had a beautiful sunny day and temperatures were cool and windy. Our guide Steven and driver Stipe were fantastic. Great blend of humour, history, culture and general knowledge.

Aaron was our guide and you couldn’t have asked for a more eloquent person. He shared his knowledge of Dublin, like no one else could have. He made our 13 hour trip just fly by. Marcin our driver was a true professional the way he handled that large bus in those tiny roads. Tony & Pat (Milwaukee, WI. USA)

Had a great time the cliffs were beautiful and the drive to Galway was along the coast. Sit on the left side for water view. I wish we had a little more time in Galway. The guide Aaron was very knowledgeable and Funny! the driver Marvin was very good felt safe the whole time. I definitely recommend this tour to get out of Dublin for the day
