Looking forward to meeting you just remember this tour is the fun freewheeling tour and it doesn’t suit all personalities . I’m expecting you to have a happy disposition and to be enthusiastic.this tour doesn’t suit everyone. This will be a light hearted tour , funny history of Ireland and generally having fun , if your interested in serious history of Ireland ask me I know some great tours for that . Everyone must be over 21 ,the tour is about 4 hours long , sometimes shorter.
Also I don’t drink , so no pubs on this tour . There is lots of walking and some stairs so keep that in mind when booking this .
I left out the tour details because I want it to be a surprise. This is a light hearted look at Irish history.
If you have 5 or more people in your group , please send me a message before booking onto the tour I only have 10 people per tour so I must arrange things accordingly.

Having been to Dublin before and seen the major tourist sites, we were looking for something different on this visit. This tour really filled that bill. Our charming, funny and informative guide Patrick took our small group around parts of central Dublin visiting sites you normally wouldn’t see but that had some intriguing bit of history attached to it. He was full of great stories and relevant historical information. We also stopped into a couple of shops for free samples (including a chocolate shop and an ice cream shop - and of course you could buy more of you wanted, but there was never any pressure). Patrick made sure we had bathroom breaks as well. One of the most delightful stops was in an old, cramped bookstore that I believe was once a pharmacy and which was made famous in James Joyce’s “Ulysses” as a place where the protagonist, Leopold Bloom, stopped to buy soap. The bookstore is now a meeting place for “Ulysses” fans to meet and read the book aloud at certain times. One of the “Ulysses” experts was there and we all took turns reading a line or two from the book after which this gentleman serenaded us and then led us in singing an Irish song. The tour was great fun and will give us lots of amusing stories to share with our friends.

Our group wasn't sure if we should go ahead as it was teeming rain in Dublin! Thankfully, we decided to ignore the rain and go anyway! Patrick was a total delight from start to finish! He brought us on a mini-odyssey of Dublin regaling us with stories and banter along the way. We read books, we sang, we wandered through chocolatiers and perfumeries and chemists! A quiz featured with more laughs! It really is the most delightful way to spend a few hours with a thoroughly likeable chap - a most genuine way to experience the friendly and mischievous side of Dublin (and we forgot about the rain!). Go Patrick!

Patrick was SO fun and knowledgeable! I was running a bit late and he completely accommodated. He had us all laughing and connecting and feeling relaxed amongst strangers. It was a lovely tour and I learned SO many amazing facts about Ireland and Dublin specifically!

Fun and unexpected. The bookshop experience was a gem. Patrick was fun and super attentive to our needs. Tour was even better as others on the tour were delightful.
