Join me; a British Cycling accredited mountain bike guide for a scenic and leisurely E-bike tour starting at Weymouth E-bike Hire in the centre of Weymouth town. This 5-6-hour guided ride takes you through breathtaking coastal landscapes, historic sites, and offers plenty of opportunities for photos and exploration. There will be sufficient stops for breaks and refreshments along with a stop for lunch.

This tour will finish back in Weymouth town. If you are joining this tour as a passenger from a cruise ship then you will have sufficient time to explore Weymouth town and beach. Other E-Bike guided tours start and finish on the Isle of Portland. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the historic seaside town of Weymouth and its harbour - a major departure point for the Normandy landings during the 2nd world war.

Weymouth

The tour begins at Weymouth E-bike hire in the centre of Weymouth. After a safety briefing and introduction to the bikes we will ride out of town on cycle paths alongside the picturesque Marina.

The Rodwell trail is a traffic free disused railway line. This is the perfect start of the tour to allow riders to get used to the E-bikes. This 5km trail takes you through short railway tunnels to the start of Chesil beach.

We were on a cruise in Portland and were looking for an alternative to the tour offered by the ship. Everything worked great and we had several contacts with the provider in advance, regarding bike request and setting of the e-bike. These were impeccable and we had a great guide with Neil who gave us great insights around Portland away from the normal “highlights”. We would book the tour again immediately.
Fantastic way to get around Weymouth and Portland sights!

Excellent option for a day trip to see sights of Weymouth and Portland- for those who enjoy being active. Neil was very accommodating and knowledgeable and my adult son and I enjoyed our day immensely.

A fantastic trip designed for us, my 2 friends and I. We vary in age 33, 43 and 70 so tour is great for any age but should be in reasonable health and some bike experience helps. Owner was the person guiding us and he was very easy to work with. We were staying in Weymouth. Since just 3 of us he came to us. We toured all of Isle of Portland. We started in Weymouth than had a stop on Isle for a sandwich coffee and tea. It was great. The bikes were very well maintained and easy to handle. The electric bikes had 4 settings and worked great going up hills. Trip tool 5 hours and we all loved it! Highly recommend. They recently returned to Viator but you can book directly Dorset E-Bike Tours.

We had read the details of this guided tour so were very much looking forward to it. We weren’t disappointed - what a great day we had! Neil was a fantastic guide, he was very knowledgeable about the places we stopped at and encouraged us to take our time to look around. He was very happy to go at our pace (we’re not exactly Jason and Laura Kenny) and made sure we were both comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and highly recommend this tour and Neil the tour guide. Ian and Claire

This was the best E-bike tour we've ever had! New bikes, beautiful sites, great lunch and our guide, Neil, was so personable, pleasant and especially patient with our group! I say patient because my husband and I are both in our mid 70's and we had our 4 adult daughters with us, so there was a lot of fun and laughter going on! If he's available, we can promise it will be an awesome adventure and worth the money!!!
