  The scavenger hunt is a great way to explore Volendam and see parts of the village you would not have seen otherwise! You also learn a little bit about the history (the info is limited, but you can always google for more). The lenght of the tour is perfect (2-3 hours including breaks). Great for a day out with friends, especially if you combine it with a photo shoot in traditional costume, a must do in Volendam ('Fotograaf' is where all the famous Dutchies go to). Only point of improvement: a few questions were no longer current (for instance the concerning singer currently moved places, or the place was no longer publicly accessible to find the answer to the question). All in all, it is a fun activity!

  Volendam is pretty much our 2nd home. Then I saw this City Trail on Social Deal. Nice! Experience Volendam in a different way! To all points we walked almost blindly. The 1st was the most fun and easy one (book this City Trail Volendam and you know why). Half the questions were still quite difficult. But it was fun, clearly put together! In terms of tips for eating, I know better, less touristy places: Lotje, Botterwerf, Romy's Kitchen and Thirty Five 😋

  the questions were not so clear.some items did not exist or no longer so eg question about bridge in cheese company.According to the employees never been bridge..the boat was not there and according to the people on site it was usually not there.the idea is good but needs to be updated

  Very nice activity, nice to know more about Volendam. So many museum visited did not go for the fastest time. The selfie at playa Volendam cannot be taken due to construction work on the dike

  Fun treasure hunt with a different view of Volendam. This was the second CityTrail in a week but here too a few questions were wrong, too bad...

• Good tour but needs some help

  This walking tour was wonderful once we were in the old city. The starting point where you can park your car for free was too far away from the rest of the destination points. The tour should start and end in the old city and include a specific route to follow but give you the option to choose your own route if you prefer. I would also recommend to remove the timer on the questions. This just adds anxiety to a fun tour.

  What a relaxing way to discover Volendam! Nice with your own company, enough info in the app and played a fun game. We had provided a prize ourselves, that gave extra motivation to win. On a next city trip definitely again!

  My family wanted to go to Volendam. I thought why, there's only the dike, full of tourists. But the qula treasure hunt had so many nice places, for example the Maze of Volendam. And the bakery museum. We had a very nice waffle there. My mother liked the Palingsound museum the most and my father that he was standing next to the Volendam football field. Hotel Spaander we all liked, with all those paintings that there was also a question about. This was a really fun qula day!!
