Early morning kayaking : Start your day off relaxing over a great cup of coffee while your professional local guide prepares you for an unforgettable trip. As the mangroves start to awake, you will receive travel plans and last minute paddling tips to insure everyone is comfortable and safe. As you paddle out across the Andaman sea inlet to the mangroves forest your guide will explain about the mangrove and wildlife . Entering the forest , you will be submerged into a whole new world off nature and beauty. The sound itself will be an experience alone, sit back , paddle and enjoy as you glide through amazing waters , forest and canyons. During your trip you will have the opportunity to explore the beach , go for a swim if you like and take plenty of fantastic pictures to share with your friends. When returning back to the pier we’ll have fresh Thailand watermelon waiting for you. This is truly an incredible experience. Please come join in , we look forward to welcoming you. 5.00We decided to do the early bird kayaking experience to avoid the crowds and we were so glad that we did. Deen was our guide and did a fabulous job of explaining everything to us and making us feel comfortable. He has so much knowledge about the area and was really interesting to listen to. We were lucky enough to see a couple of monkeys and a monitor lizard but the highlight of the trip was just quietly gliding through the mangroves, listening to all the different wildlife and looking at the amazing scenery, pretty much by ourselves. Deen made the experience special for us and I would highly recommend the early bird. We were tired at the end of it but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

5.00We booked the early bird kayaking. It was wonderfull and really worth the missing hour(s) of sleep. We were there before the big groups came and had I beautiful quiet and private tour. The guides Lek and Dean were the best and had so much information. Our children (age 8 and 10) loved it as wel. Bonus: we saw a big monkey family including babies!

5.00Booked the early morning one it was brilliant. It had been full moon the night before so it was a high tide so got to go right into the mangroves. There was only us and our guide Lek it was like a personal tour. Lek our guide was fantastic nothing was too much trouble. He was very knowledgeable and a really nice guy.

5.00We had a fantastic time kayaking through the canyon and into the mangroves. As it was low tide we couldn’t go all the way through the mangroves (you can check before booking when to go) but it was still a wonderful experience.
Beautiful mangroves with a bonus of tasty snacks.

5.00We did the early bird tour. The advantage was that our group was very small. Only 6 of us and we were split in two. My husband and I drew the lucky straw and were allocated a private guide. The trip was easy to complete and unforgettable. Beautiful, very quiet mangrove bush, impressive rock formations and a few monkeys and monitors thrown in for good measure. Afterwards we were treated to some very tasty (but not spicy) Thai rice snacks. This was lovely tour and a highpoint of our trip to the Krabi coast. An absolute must in your itinerary!

5.00Lek from Friends of Kyak was the best guide we've had for any tour in Thailand. He is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the local area and tides (understanding the tides i think was key in allowing us to navigate the mangroves). He also had a good sense of humor and we would highly recommend him for a private kyak tour.

5.00A perfect experience. Pick up on time and comfortable. Although, I got to sit up front so had bonus aircon😉. My guide Bao was friendly, helpful and easy going. The trip itself was a combination of paddling through mangroves - green and fascinating, then mangroves one side and limestone karst cliffs, then into a breathtaking canyon between the the cliff faces. It was aweinspiring, peaceful and beautiful. Interesting when a monkey jumped onto my kayak, stole my plastic water bottle bit a hole and drank. No real danger... Let it do its thing. It only wanted the water. Great great trip. Big bonus, this business starts an hour before the rest of the tour companies. You miss the crowds by an hour... Back at the hotel by lunch for your afternoon activity. Much better for mine. Totally recommend. Go for it.

5.00It was a fun workout for the morning. The rowing was not that bad, we were a small group that day, after a full moon and rain, we could go everywhere. The guide was very?chatty and friendly.

5.00We did the sunset kayaking tour with the most incredible guide, Mat, and loved it so much we booked the early bird two days later. Best thing we did in Krabi! Mat was so kind, helpful, and passion about nature. A joy to be with. Thank you!
