Let’s arrive ahead of the crowds in Komodo National Park with a 5:25 AM hotel pick-up, followed by a 6:00 AM (at the latest) speedboat departure from Labuan Bajo’s harbor. This early start allows you to explore the park’s iconic highlights at a relaxed pace, enjoying a well-paced itinerary that includes trekking, photography, and snorkeling.
The speedboats shown in our photos are the exact boats used on the tour. Boat size is assigned based on the number of bookings, using speedboats with a maximum capacity of 17, 14, or 7 guests to ensure comfort. Even with just one booking, the tour will still depart as scheduled.
The tour returns to Labuan Bajo by around 4:00 PM, making it ideal for travelers with afternoon return flights. If you read our reviews, you’ll see guests consistently mention that our actions truly reflect our words.

November to February is the rainy season, so itineraries may be adjusted or postponed if conditions are unsafe. The upside is fewer crowds and excellent chances to see manta rays.
Guests planning to bring a drone to Komodo National Park must inform us at least 5 days in advance, hold a valid drone flying certification, and obtain a permit costing 2.5 million rupiah, which we must pay upfront and can be reimbursed upon your arrival. Please let us know if you’d like our assistance.
If you are catching an afternoon flight after the tour, please bring your luggage with you and store it in the shuttle car. The same car will take you straight to the airport once the tour ends.

Labuan Bajo
Our pick-up service begins at 5:30 AM, depending on your hotel’s location. Simply wait in your hotel lobby, and we’ll ensure a smooth transfer to the harbor for the check-in process. Once the formalities are complete, you’ll board one of our speedboats, which departs promptly before 6:00 AM from Labuan Bajo. Depending on bookings, we offer three speedboat options tailored to group sizes: a large speedboat for up to 17 passengers, a medium speedboat for up to 14 passengers, and a small speedboat for up to 7 passengers. In total, we can accommodate up to 38 guests daily and even with just one booking, our boat will depart as scheduled.
Padar Island
From your hotel, we’ll head directly to the harbor to board our speedboat and set off on a day filled with discovery. It takes approximately 60 minutes by speedboat from Labuan Bajo to reach our first destination, the iconic Padar Island. Renowned for its dramatic landscapes and unique trio of colored beaches—white, pink, and black—Padar is a feast for the senses. As we approach, you’ll be captivated by the island’s rugged hills and stunning vistas. To reach the best viewpoint for capturing truly stunning pictures, guests will need to walk up 815 well-constructed concrete steps. While a good physical condition is required, the steady steps make the ascent more manageable and guests can take their time to rest along the way. At the top, you’ll be rewarded with sweeping panoramic views—an unforgettable highlight of Komodo National Park.

5.00We arrived in Labuan Bajo without realizing Komodo National Park was closed due to a weather incident. Luckily for us, we were able to extend our trip an extra day and although it was touch-and-go until the last minute, the park did reopen on the last day of our stay (it had been closed from 12/28-1/8). The tour operator kept in touch and let us know as soon as they were cleared to sail and we were on the 5:30am boat out on January 9. It was definitely worth the wait and the trip met or exceeded all of our expectations. The first stop at Padar Island was breathtaking and we were thrilled to be there ahead of the crowds. A herd of wild deer met as at the beach for a picture perfect start. The pink beach was also beautiful and relaxing and we found both deer and dragon footprints on the beach which added to our already building excitement. Finally arriving on Komodo island, we stepped onto the pier and immediately saw a dragon roaming the beach in the distance. On our walking tour we saw 7 dragons of varying sizes and the rangers were excellent photographers, posing us perfectly behind the dragons to give us incredible pictures while keeping us safe. We also saw scrub fowl and cockatoos along the way as well as a variety of orchids and other plants. We had planned the trip specifically to see the dragons and felt the rest of the snorkeling would just be a nice add-on but those stops actually turned out to be a highlight of the day. The coral reefs were beautiful though there were a few people on our boat that were not good snorkelers and we were dismayed to see them kicking the coral. **Please be careful in the shallow water to avoid further damage to the reef.** We saw a huge variety of fish and 7-8 large sea turtles. Snorkeling with the manta rays was also an incredible experience. We saw 3 mantas and it made for a truly magical day. The entire park is gorgeous, our guide was personable and helpful, and even the weather cooperated to make our trip a memorable one.

5.00The tour is as advertised - it leaves early and we were able to beat other tour groups to each stop most of the day. My wife and I were on a smaller boat with three other people. The group size was perfect though the company apparently operates larger boats. The tour has multiple stops. We didn’t know what to expect at the first- Padar Island, so were surprised by the extent of the hike to the viewpoint and some will be deterred by the 800+ steps. But the view is amazing and worth the effort. The next stop, Pink Beach, was nice but a little underwhelming. Komodo Island was the highlight and the Komodo Dragons did not disappoint. Despite warnings that there were no guarantees we’d see any, there were many and lots of decent opportunities for pictures. The only downsides of the island was the aggressiveness of the vendors in the marketplace. And the toilets were atrocious. It is a somewhat isolated location but it is a government facility that takes in a fair bit of fee revenue. The subsequent stops for snorkeling were a bit anticlimactic after Komodo Island but were still memorable. We saw baby sharks, turtles, and millions of fish. But we were also able to observe several manta rays. Throughout the day, our guide, Hugo, did a great job of keeping us safe, informed and happy.

5.00The trip that I experienced with Komodo Snorkel was amazing. First of all I felt secure, both on the boat and during snorkelling. Apart from the planned places the guides took us also to spots with beautiful coral reefs, we saw mantas, we were also lucky to see a see turtle. Overall, even though I’ve just arrived in Indonesia, I could go back home with the feeling that I saw everything. Highly recommend this trip with this company because they are really professional, devoted and carrying

5.00You might wonder why this tour started earlier than the other similar ones, but i could tell you it makes HUGE difference - so you can avoid the crowds and enjoy some peaceful moments. And the crew is very attentive - always making sure we are well informed of the itinerary and that we have enough food, beverages and beautiful pics taken. And most importantly, they are experts in looking for komodo dragons, manta rays and sea tortoise. I feel so grateful to have joined this tour which makes my stay here very memorable!

5.00What an unforgettable day! Thanks to the early start, we beat the crowds and enjoyed these breathtaking spots in peace – it felt truly exclusive. It was a day of non-stop highlights: exploring Padar Island, being greeted by a deer on Pink Beach, seeing multiple Komodo dragons, and snorkeling with reef sharks and turtles. But the absolute icing on the cake was swimming with the mantas. The service was absolutely phenomenal: Hugo, Sofian and the whole team went above and beyond to make this day a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. This wasn’t just a tour; it was the highlight of our trip! If you want to see the best of Komodo with a team that truly cares, look no further. Highly recommended!

5.00A lovely trip from start to finish! We had almost all the places for ourselves when it was low season. We saw 7 Komodovaranes, several manta rays, baby sharks, turtle, lots of beautiful corals and fish. Good lunch served on Komodo Island and a skilled and charismatic guide. The boat was also comfortable. Recommend on the strongest.

5.00We had a great time on the tour! There was just enough time at all of the stops to see what you needed to see before moving to the next stop. We had just 6 people in our group so it felt more personal. The tour guides and boat crew were fantastic - they were friendly, helpful, and organized. They kept us informed on our plan at the beginning of the trip and after each stop on where we were going and how long we’d be there. The Komodo park rangers were very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting info about the komodo dragons as we walked through the park. The snorkeling was also a highlight - there were tons of colorful tropical fish, coral, as well as sea turtles and manta rays. Overall it was an awesome tour and we’d recommend it to anyone looking to explore Komodo for a day!
