5.00Janez was a super guide and made the tour very enjoyable with his extensive knowledge of the Ljubljana food and wine scene. We started the tour with some local street food (Burek) and continued the tour with a visit to a wine bar where we enjoyed an interesting orange wine, nicely paired with local charcuterie. Other stops included one of the top pizza places in the city, a taste of raw oysters paired with petnat, sampling local sausage and finishing off with a lovely local pastry. It was an interesting selection of foods and Slovenian wines, punctuated with Janez’ commentary on Slovenian history and culture . It felt like we were out for an evening with an old friend. I would highly recommend this tour!

5.00Janez was a lovely guide - engaging, informative and interested in our preferences. We started with street food, then a wine tasting, moved on to regional kielbasa, pizza from a highly rated establishment, fresh oysters and dessert! Among our best GetYourGuide experiences!

5.00The combination of wine and food on the tour was almost perfect. We were able to sample very simple yet exquisite dishes and wines, and this combination made the tour truly special. Furthermore, our tour guide was incredibly friendly, dedicated more time than agreed upon, and made the evening a wonderful experience. Thank you so much.

5.00I thought this would be a terrible review, but no! I waited in the deep cold for quite a while for a guide that never showed up. However, mistakes happen—it’s all what you do to fix them. The company sent me an itinerary of several places to try along with what to eat, and comped some of them. It was not as good as going with a guide, but I had some exceptionally delicious food and drink and feel like I got the gist of the experience. So in the end I’m very happy with what the company did to fix the error and highly recommend working with them. One day I hope to repeat the experience with a guide!

5.00We had an excellent time in our small group tour lead by Matic! He showed us around the city and was very knowledgeable both on the food and wine but also the city history, local culture, and was very friendly and easy to talk to. He gave us great suggestions for other must try restaurants and things to explore during our stay. We loved the orange wine! We would highly recommend visiting Ljubljana and taking this tour!

5.00We had an amazing time! Mikha was a very knowledgeable guide. We had some lovely tastes of Slovenian food, together with delicious Slovenian wines. Napolitan style pizza was devoured before we remembered to take a photo. Would do this tour again. Highly recommend!
