5.00We love Eating Europe Food Tours! Edinburgh is our third tour with this company and I cannot say enough good things about the Edinburgh tour! Meg was our guide and she was amazing! She was entertaining and took us to some great little restaurants that we would normally just walk on by! We were able to try Scottish dishes that I wanted to try but was hesitant to do so like Cullen Skink fish soup (delicious!) and haggis (very interesting and I’m so glad I tried it!). She told us fun facts and the history of the area and took us down streets that we would have missed on our own. Meg kept the tour lively and we had a lot of great food! You won’t leave the tour hungry, that’s for sure! We met very nice couples from Australia and Florida which made the tour even more fun! Take the tour … you won’t be disappointed!

3.00The guide was not considerate that we had a wheelchair user in the group. He didn’t make sure the group was together and didn’t make sure “caught up” on what was discussed in between. The wife couldn’t handle the disrespect and left the tour. The person who remained said it was good.

5.00What a delightful food and cultural tour in Edinburgh. We ended up being the only 2 on this tour plus our guide. We learned many interesting things about the history and culture of Edinburgh specifically , and Scotland in general. Our guide took us to quaint pubs, cheese shop, and bakery to sample traditional Scottish savories, sweets, and beverages. We were more than filled up by the end of this mid-day wonderful tour. The added bonuses of today’s tour were the undivided attention of our lovely guide (we bombarded her with questions) and the small bagpipe parade for celebrating May Day. We highly recommend this tour!
