Mythical beasts, tall tales and dramatic scenery: explore the beauty of Scotland in a day on this one day coach tour.
Leaving from Edinburgh, we head northwest passing famous landmarks such as Linlithgow Palace: birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, the mystical Kelpies, and the dramatically perched Stirling Castle.
Continuing north we arrive in Glencoe for some photos of the dramatic ridges called the Three Sisters.
We stop in the Fort William area for lunch before heading into the natural beauty of the Great Glen as we pass Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis.
Heading further into the highlands we arrive in the small picturesque village of Fort Augustus - you can choose to take part in an optional boat cruise here.
The road home will be time to relax and take in the Highland scenery. Final refreshment stop is at the historic town of Pitlochry before continuing the journey home over the Firth of Forth alongside UNESCO Forth Rail Bridge enroute back into Edinburgh.

The tour was very nice and felt fast paced being on a bus most of the time. It depends a lot on the weather as we had sunshine all day through. Ross was an amazing guide and provided very interesting insights on Scottish folk tales and history. Highly recommended!

This was a tremendous day trip that allows you to experience the beauty and grandeur of the Highlands without feeling overwhelmed. Our guide, Leon was charming, knowledgeable, and funny. After twelve hours of historical recollections, jokes and general musings I can safely say I would die for Leon and his fabulous legs. Well worth the cost of admission, especially if you have a limited amount of time to visit.

I had a wonderful one-day trip to the Scottish Highlands with Stewart Tours on 11th February. Even though the weather was a bit uncooperative, the experience was still absolutely worth it. The itinerary was well organised, with comfortable breaks in between and detailed explanations about each location we visited. Our guide, Kete, was incredibly knowledgeable and so funny, which made the journey even more enjoyable despite the weather. Overall, it was a memorable and well-managed trip that I would happily recommend to others.

What a wonderful day ! Edinburgh to Lochness day trip by coach . Phil ( our driver ) & Deborah were our guides , they are brilliant. Phil's history knowledge of Scotland and the landmarks we passed along our journey was superb and very entertaining, as was the music he chose to accompany his narration. We bought Cruise Lochness tickets ( oppitional add on ) via Phil whilst on the journey, that was also awesome. Highly recommend this trip and would definitely book with Stewarts again.
