Mythical beasts, tall tales and dramatic scenery: explore the beauty of Scotland in a day on this one day coach tour.
Leaving from Edinburgh, we head northwest passing famous landmarks such as Linlithgow Palace: birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, the mystical Kelpies, and the dramatically perched Stirling Castle.
Continuing north we arrive in Glencoe for some photos of the dramatic ridges called the Three Sisters.
We stop in the Fort William area for lunch before heading into the natural beauty of the Great Glen as we pass Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis.
Heading further into the highlands we arrive in the small picturesque village of Fort Augustus - you can choose to take part in an optional boat cruise here.
The road home will be time to relax and take in the Highland scenery. Final refreshment stop is at the historic town of Pitlochry before continuing the journey home over the Firth of Forth alongside UNESCO Forth Rail Bridge enroute back into Edinburgh.

Absolutely stunning scenery. Keith is a legend who seemed to make the time pass quicker with his brilliant storytelling ability as well as his witty humour. Brilliant experience!

We booked this tour as part of our trip to Scotland to ensure we didn’t miss the natural beauty of the country side and certainly to visit the locks. The trip began great with some light rain but as we made it further north it only got colder and wetter. All that being said Keith was warm and enjoyable the whole time. His driving was fist class and his stories and music kept us entertained as we moved through the country. All and all we really enjoyed it, there is lots to see and the bus was clean and comfortable. Be aware no toilet on bus and schedule later spring possibly if you don’t want to chance having a chilly and possibly wet tour.

Amazing scenery, very knowledgeable and passionate driver Keith, who clearly loves his job and his beautiful country. Felt safe and comfortable at all times, lots of stories and stops for food, drinks, toilets and great photos ops. A long day and not the best weather, but all good, and would definitely recommend. A perfect day to add to our break in Edinburgh :)

We really enjoyed our time on this tour - it’s long, but so many wonderful things to see. Our trip was truly enhanced by Keith - we were super impressed by his story telling, history prowess, sense of humor, and true joy in what he does for a living. We enjoyed learning more about Scotland and would love to come back to learn more, but only if the tour guide is as good as Keith. Wish I had more photos than just cows to share, but take my word for it - it’s really good!

This is the second time I’ve taken a tour to the highlands, this time with this company. Both times have been amazing and though we’ve stopped at some of the sights before, this tour offered different viewpoints of Glencoe and little stops to have rests and get snacks. We were able to see wildlife, architecture, and natural sites that are breath-taking. The weather didn’t cooperate today and our boat tour of Loch Ness was cancelled, however, the landscape alone is worth the trip!! Keith was our driver and guide, and he did an amazing job at driving and giving great stories to go along with our sights. He also provided great recommendations for lunch and cafes! I was so happy with our stops and the treats I was able to get along the way.

Keith was a fantastic tour guide! Knowledgeable, interesting, funny and very kind. It was so cold and rainy but he helped us make the best of it by adding some extra stops. Loved the music too! Our family of 4 (kids aged 14 and 9) highly recommend. Thank you!

Ross was a really friendly and informative tour guide. Absolute pleasure. Didn't enjoy the Scottish music as much though. Unfortunately the trip was dampened by the atrocious weather. The Loch Ness cruise(the main attraction) was canceled due to the rains which was a massive let down. Other than that the scenery was breathtaking.
