Part of the Harry Potter book was written in Edinburgh and its writer, JK Rowling, used the inspiration graveyard . 5.00Our tour guide Melanie was a lovely lady full of love and sunshine. Even though the weather was not playing along, she stayed positive and alternated to route to find as much shelter as possible. The mixture of history knowledge and nerdy “fun”facts was appropriate. If you look for a tour that won’t give you the standard facts about the city, but more of the local knowledge and history of individuals that lived in Edinburgh, this tour is for you :))
