Edinburgh has become one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

We will know the history of this medieval city, with more than 3000 years, from the first tribes that populated it, the Picts, to the men in skirts. We will talk about its most important buildings, such as St. Giles Cathedral, or Edinburgh Castle. We will walk through its most emblematic streets, such as the Royal Mile, or Victoria Street .

We will visit the sculpture of the puppy Bobby, which is next to the Greyfriars cemetery, where many mysteries and legends are hidden, and some paranormal activity. Part of the Harry Potter book was written in Edinburgh and its writer, JK Rowling, used the inspiration graveyard . Join us to discover where she wrote and what she used as inspiration for her novels.

With a group of friends we were in Scotland on a roadtrip. We arrived in Edinburgh at the end of our tour and didn't have much time to see it well on our own before heading home. So we booked a city tour to get the most relevant information about the history of the place and some curiosities that otherwise we might not have known. We came across the guided tour of Ayrton, which proved prepared and accompanied us around the city on time. Recommended!

We did the tour with Valeria and it was the perfect chance to get to know the city; she explained all the stories in detail and it showed how much knowledge and research goes into her tour. She is just the perfect mix of entertainment and knowledge about Edinburgh, with also so many honest and great recommendations about what to visit and where to eat. 10/10, we loved it!

We did this guided tour with friends, our guide Claudia was very nice and super exhaustive! We also really appreciated his thoughtfulness in giving us so much useful information to enjoy a wonderful holiday (pubs to eat, sites to visit, how to get to Glasgow for example). Really super experience!! 😍😍
