5.00While in Edinburgh we wanted to find out and experience some whisky from Scotland. We decided on a guided tasting and we weren't disappointed. Our host was excellent and we tasted and discussed four different types of whisky as a group. All very entertaining and educational

5.00Great whisky tasting with John! We tried 4 different whiskies and as a first timer trying whisky John made it very accessible to everyone. Perfect way to spend 2 hours as the time just flew by!

5.00This tasting experience was absolutely superb. John is a delight to listen to and hearing the history of whisky in Scotland is a delightful experience, as is tasting the variety of whisky from many different regions. Learned a lot about whisky, history, and enjoyed all tastings on offer.

5.00How does one choose which Whisky Tour to do in Edinburgh with so many options? Look no further, you will not regret booking with EDI Tours! Why? The iconic location inside the upper room of The Waverley on the Royal Mile for starters but the knowledge of our host, John, and the four whiskies we sampled and learned about- that’s what really makes a tour go from “meh” to “you have to do this”!! Fun anecdotes sprinkled in with all the historical information kept things interesting and allowed the passion John has for teaching us about Scottish Whisky to shine. Highly recommend this fun and informative experience! Slàinte mhath!

5.00We had an amazing time at our tasting! John was a fantastic guide: he was very knowledgeable about the Waverley, the whiskies we tried, and the history of scotch in general. He did a great job answering our questions, and the whole evening felt very comfortable and personal as well as educational. We all discovered a new favourite as well, thank you John!

5.00What an incredible experience! Our whisky tasting at The Waverley Bar was made truly special thanks to our host. He brought the whole evening to life with his passion, humor, and storytelling—honestly, he should be doing stand-up comedy on the side! We tasted four delicious whiskies, each introduced with fascinating tales and Scottish history. On top of that, he shared some fantastic local tips for food, pubs, and places to visit that really enriched our stay in Edinburgh. It felt less like a tour and more like an evening with a very entertaining (and well-informed) friend. Absolutely recommend!
