  Our tour guide was Emad Salib, he was very knowledgable and informative. He made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. Emad was also very kind in aiding our group with private requests, above and beyond ! We had a great day.

  A Great tour of the old Egyptian Museum, Citadel and Coptic Churches/Synagogue. Emad is so knowledgeable and kind. My wife had difficulty climbing stairs and he used the lifts where possible and a golf cart in the Citadel. He gave us a highlight tour of the Museum which enabled us to fully appreciate the key exhibits. Again, in the Citadel he explained the history of the Mosques as well as providing insight into Islam. The Coptic Churches were also fascinating and Emad helped us better understand Coptic Christianity. We also visited a Synagogue. All in all a comprehensive look at the history and key religions of Egypt. Thank you.

  We booked this tour (through viator) given the amount that we could see in a single day and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The opening of the GEM meant that the old Egyptian museum and Museum of Civilisation (containing the mummies) could easily be seen in a day as well as Coptic Cairo and the citadel. Our guide/driver Emad Salib was excellent, extremely knowledgeable and it was a very interesting day. We’d been unsure of whether we would need a guide in the old Egyptian museum but are very glad we did as the labels are limited and we got so much more out of it through having someone explaining the objects and history. We did the tour on a Friday and he suggested changing the order for the day to make the most of the roads being very quiet until lunchtime. We were grateful for that as we had clear roads between the different sites. Lunch was lovely. It was in a BBQ restaurant (again we were given a couple of options) where mini BBQs were placed on each table with the cooked meat on it. We would definitely recommend this tour and guide.

  We had a fantastic trip with a very knowledgeable and professional guide Mr Emad Salib. His professionalism started with his punctuality in picking us from the hotel.. He had a deep knowledge and explained to us about the Egyptian History with regards to NMEC and Old Egyptian museum visits.. He explained to us about the significance of the Coptic Churches and also about the citadel .. He is a honest man and his work ethics are the best..

From the moment we met Emad, we felt safe, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. His calm presence and excellent English made every moment easy to follow and deeply engaging. He didn’t just show us places - he brought them to life. We walked through history together: the mighty Citadel, the serene Hanging Church, the sacred resting place of the Holy Family, the Jewish synagogue where baby Moses was found, and the treasure-filled Egyptian Museum.   I decided I really didn’t want a group tour of the main Cairo attractions, so we found Emad, and I can honestly say best decision of the short time we had in the city. Emad tailor made the tour to suit us, we did adapt it slightly to include the Grand Egyptian Museum rather than Coptic Cairo. No problem for Emad. He is so knowledgeable but pitches the tour perfectly, checking whether you want time yourself or a coffee. There’s no pressure, no hurry. Emad took us round museums making sure we saw all the important artefacts in an order that made sense and so we missed the crowds. I was able to spend time with virtually no one else in the room looking at the most important pieces. Can’t recommend Emad highly enough, my advice…don’t do a group tour get a tailor made one where you can ask as many questions as you like and hear the answers.

  Emad was one of the best guides we had during our entire trip. He was incredibly flexible and kindly adjusted the tour so we could start a bit later, since our flight the night before had been delayed by five hours. Despite the change, he made sure we saw everything, sharing his deep knowledge and great attitude throughout the day. You can tell he truly loves what he does- and it shows! Also, our driver Ismaiel made us feel safe and comfortable everywhere we went.

  Salib was a fantastic tour guide! He was educational and accommodating. I highly recommend him for tours. He did a great job guiding us away from crowds which seems impossible.

  Great tour of the religious historical sites of Cairo. Favourite part was seeing the citadel and the magnificent Alabaster mosque. Salib is the best. He knows everything and explains all the important historical facts with passion. Answered all my question professionally.
