Secret Lagoon

The Secret Lagoon is hidden within an island with a pristine white beach and crystal clear water. You go there to enjoy the view from the beach, the beach itself and to explore the Secret Lagoon.

We had a good day, the event was pretty much what I expected. The beach was beautiful, the guide was experienced, the lunch was good, the kayaking awesome.

Not perfect but what a memorable experience. Just boarding the boat at the beginning was extreme! Wading thru chest high water to the ladder! First 1/2 of the trip was spectacular. Unfortunately I'm not a kayaker and felt it a waste of time. It was a enic enough but navigating thru 100 other kayakers was too much. Somehow we missed out on wear to rent water shoes. I got several cuts from sharp coral even though I was wearing good flip flops. Also renting snorkeling gear is important. Even if you have never snorkelled before, do it! Worth every penny. By lunch time I was starving. Lunch was adequate, but bring some snacks for in-between.

We enjoyed the tour a lot and our guide and the rest of the crew were great! They were all very helpful and service-minded, and nice to talk to. They even arranged vegan options for us for the lunch. Overall the tour was great and even though we were not able to go to all the locations, we still had a great time. The only thing we did not like was the way they organized things at the meetup point, which was at a restaurant by the beach. They asked us to arrive between 8:30 am and 9:00 am, we arrived at 8:30 am. It took almost two hours before we were actually on the boat.

DO NOT USE! We were repetitively scammed out of money during the day. At the start they charge you double the amount they should for the environmental fee (should be P200/pp, we were charged P400/pp) and during the day we kept having to pay for additional things making it double the price by the end (shoes, snorkel, accommodation drop off). Also we had been told we would get a vegetarian lunch but just got rice and fruit. We did another tour the following day and ending up paying half the amount as other companies included all the “extras” in your fee
