It was my first time visiting the capital city, San Salvador. I decided to take a tour of the city since I had time to explore the capital, and I will say that Jasmin has been an incredible tour guide. She is an expert that is knowledgeable about the people, culture, and city itself. We started off in the center of the city—the National Library and National Palace; however, please look at the hours ahead since it could be closed. I will say that the tour was excellent because Cristina Jasmine brought her authenticity in making the trip enjoyable. Additionally, she is patient and helpful in case you need a break or need to buy something, which I had to do at the supermarket. On our way to the Puerta del Diablo, we stopped by a lovely park that was peaceful. Once we arrived at Puerta del Diablo, we took a rest and went on a hike. I loved the views. At the end of the trip, we went to a local restaurant and tried Papusas with Horchata. They were delicious. If you'd like to know what it feels like to be a local and experience outdoor nature with some cultural activities, I recommend Cristina Jasmine. I wrote this review in French (fluent in French) to help others have options with their tours. It was my first visit to San Salvador, and I took the opportunity to dive into its history. As a baker, I was struck by Jasmine: her knowledge of local culture is impressive. She was able to pass on to me the way of life of the inhabitants and showed us how the city evolved. We started our journey in the city centre - The National Library is a must as is the National Palace. Remember to check opening hours before visiting the National Palace, as it may be closed. Jasmin shared his views frankly, referring to both the challenges facing the country and the positive changes that had taken place there. In addition, Cristina Jasmin was very patient when I needed to take a break, for example to go to a supermarket. On the way to Puerta del Diablo, we stopped in a nice park. Once we arrived at Puerta del Diablo, I was absolutely conquered: we did a hike there that was just amazing. At the end of the day, we enjoyed pupusas and Horchatas in a local restaurant; they were delicious. To conclude if you are interested in the outdoors and cultural activities, I highly recommend this visit to start your stay in El Salvador.
