On this tour, you'll be picked up at your place of stay and driven to El Yunque National Forest, which is about an hour from San Juan. You’ll experience El Yunque National Forest through the eyes of our passionate guides. You’ll be guided and listen to live documentaries about the cultural significance of this place to our Puerto Rican ancestors. This tour will give you a lot of knowledge about the importance of the tree species, wildlife, and mountain land to the people of Puerto Rico. The tour lasts about 5 hours from pick-up to drop-off, including driving time, three different stops within the forest, and a stop at a local place for souvenir shopping and lunch before making our way back to San Juan.

5.00Ingrid was excellent. Explained everything, made some necessary accommodations for guests as needed. The tour was a great length, and the place we went to for lunch was amazing and authentic. We had a great day and hope many of you will choose this tour.

5.00This tour was a great way to see the highlights of El Yunque Rainforest. We had the river to ourselves, which was an awesome experience. The place the guide stopped for food was great also!

5.00Perfect amount of time exploring the rainforest!!Isaac was knowledgeable and had foresight to take us to the tower first to see the view before it clouded over. Hike was relatively easy but slippery. The swim was refreshing after the hike. This your is a must.
Isaac is Awesome!! Excellent Tour.

5.00Isaac was our tour guide and he was amazing. He gave alot of informative information. He changed up the order of the stops which worked out perfectly. We did the Tower first and there were only a few people there. On the way back the parking lot was full. One of the other passengers was motion sick and he did anything he could to help their situation. Loved swimming in the natural pool. Overall an excellent day.

5.00Issac did it all. Good driver and guide. Nice van and liked small 12 group. Chose an excellent lunch place with good prices and food - sweet plantains pulled pork and beans/rice

5.00Isaac was well organized and enthusiastic from the start. He had all 3 pickups lined up and the timing was about as good as it gets. He gave us a great overview of the day’s events and described San Juan highlights along the way. The tower climb and hiking trail might be more than a moderate event for some but there was always an option to stay in place or turn back early. The visit to the pool was very relaxing and the stop for lunch was perfect. All in all, a great experience and we would recommend it to anyone who is interested. I’d ask for Isaac if he’s available.

5.00Our tour guide Issac was amazing. The walking was just right and his knowledge on the alge, plants, island etc. and you can tell he enjoys it so then we enjoyed it more.

4.00I think it was just the group I was with. They kind of had meh attitudes because it seemed like they didn't realize it was like, a full-on nature hike which is what I was hoping for. so I only did a 4 instead of a 5 but Isaac, the tour guide, was great. No notes.
