  We had the best day with our tour GODDESS, Adriana! It was raining in San Juan, but the weather was perfection in the RAIN forest. Some people actually canceled due to rain which I would say was a huge mistake. Trust the guides to make the call. The van was clean and safe. We made a pit stop for fruit to enjoy on our hike, coffee and a bathroom. On arrival to El Yunque, we were granted access to a private entrance. I’m glad we were there early to enjoy the symphony of sounds in the forest before too many groups had arrived. Adriana made sure we were safe and cared for, and I appreciated her support on parts of the trail where I felt scared. Her true love and appreciation for nature were apparent and made us that much more excited for what we were discovering. Once to the end of the trail, You are able to do the slide and cliff jump only if you want. The hike alone is moderately challenging. We then enjoyed some fresh mango and oranges in the river. I’m glad we were there early because large groups started coming in as we were leaving. We did get a little muddy, but there’s a place to rinse off and change at the end. We did walk a good amount in the river with water up over our shins, so keep that in mind when choosing footwear. I left my belongings including phone in the van, but Adriana took lots of photos of us that she shared at the end of the tour. We then were off with a fun play list inspired by the day’s adventures to kiosks for lunch and beach views in luquillo and a short drive after back to Condado (and a nap!!). All in all, a wonderful day!! I found out later this is a small, local company. Made me feel good to support the mom and pop guy, but believe me it’s a very professional tour despite being a smaller endeavor.

  I had such an amazing experience on my tour of El Yunque, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Lilo. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire trip so fun and memorable. You can really tell she loves what she does—she shared so many interesting facts about the rainforest while also keeping the vibe relaxed and enjoyable. Lilo made sure everyone felt comfortable and included, and she went above and beyond to make the experience special. From pointing out hidden spots to making sure we had the best time at the waterfalls, everything felt so well thought out. I genuinely had a great time and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a tour guide. If you get the chance to tour El Yunque with Lilo, do it—you won’t regret it!

  Adriana was so patient and knowledgable. She was so great with my 13 year old son, and instantly felt like family. Her love of the rainforest and patience with absorbing the full experience made it so much more enjoyable. Many big company tour groups were bringing in another group as we were leaving. We actually were able to relax by the river, which was amazing. Her recommendations at the Luquillo Kiosks did not miss. Book with Adriana and support a local business!

  Our tour guide was Lilo, and she was fantastic! She has your best interests at heart; everything was great. In order to avoid the crowds, we had a last-minute change in schedule to depart in the morning an hour earlier -- be ready and flexible in case that is communicated to you. (We are glad we left earlier; the crowd sizes for the hiking and water jumps got much larger later on.) Don't bring your glasses/jewelry into the deep dives/jumps; make sure to hold onto them in your hand or give them to your tour guide (or you may risk losing them as I did). You will get wet, so dress appropriately (consider leaving your socks behind and bring a towel to leave in the tour bus). There are fee(s) around El Yunque, though our tour guide paid for them (which I suppose is covered by paying for this experience through TripAdvisor). There are multiple stops along the way (a cafe before visiting the forest, kiosks/restaurant at Luquillo beach after the forest). It might be wise to drink water and go to the restroom at the first cafe stop before heading into the rainforest. During the hike, it will be a tad difficult to carry your items with you, though if you must, it is ideal to bring your phone in a waterproof pouch around your arm, waist, or neck. Overall incredible experience at El Yunque; everything was great as advertised (with complementary fresh fruit in the middle of the hike). 10/10.

  Adriana! She was the heart and soul of this experience. We miss her already, her spirit with the island really touched us. I personally felt connected more with the Yunque leaving this tour. She’s attentive to learn everyone name, aware of everyone safety and making sure everyone is having a good time. The knowledge she has about island is incredible to listen too. We will be back just for her! (-;

  We had an awesome time on our El Yunque tour! Our tour guide, Lilo, was the best. She added an extra stop to pick up my husband and myself after our tour guide cancelled. She had lots of interesting facts about El Yunque and Puerto Rico and displayed a lot of pride for her culture. We had so much fun doing the natural slide, rock jumping, and rope swinging. Just know if you go during March it will be crowded due to the spring breakers. Afterwards we were taken to Luquillo Beach to enjoy some local Puerto Rican cuisine. 10/10!!!

  Amazing, this was dry. Eat part of our trip. Our crowd was lovely and lilo was such an amazing host. Her personality is just a breath of fresh air. We enjoyed everything and learning about pr as well. I want to come back and bring my family to experience this.

  The trail was super busy but Adriana got us in and out with no hiccups. Many times she explained the history, and natural wildlife like the trees and the unique plants only found in Puerto Rico. The river was so clean and relaxing after the hike up the trail. For $50 this is a easy recommend to anyone looking for the real island experience but might be too inexperienced to go alone. Make sure to ask for Adriana!!!

  AMAZING experience! Our guide, Lilo, was hilarious and instantly connected with everyone in our group. She was patient, engaging, and made everyone feel includes. Lilo brought the group together in such a natural way, and we learned so much while having a great time. We especially loved trying the local food and drinks afterward. Hands down the best tour I’ve ever been on and the best guide I’ve ever had. It was an absolute highlight of our trip!!

  Had an amazing day with the best tour guide Adriana 🫶. She is such an energetic and lovely soul. Because of Spring Break, we headed out early, which was a great call to avoid the crowds. Even though I was the only solo traveler in my group, I had a blast and never felt left out. Adriana never rushed us and made sure to take photos of everyone at every single spot. Highly recommend!
