Hidden gem of an El Yunque tour!

5.00This is a hidden gem of a tour if you want a great introduction to El Yunque! When we were younger we did the water slide and waterfall tour and honestly, we are older now with 2 kids. We loved our tour guide Jorge who was entertaining and extremely informative on the bus. We learned all about Puerto Rico and he led us while visiting different locations in the rainforest. We did a stop at the visitor center with a small optional hike, saw waterfalls, and the Yokohù tower. We had a lot of photo opportunities and beautiful views. There are a few bathrooms available during the tour. If you have an injury, mobility issues, have younger kids, or don’t want to ruin your shoes, this one is for you. All ages can do it. The clean bus is air conditioned and comfortable, and we were picked up/dropped off at our hotel. Don’t forget to bring snacks! Thank you Jorge!

5.00Our tour guide was lovely and very informative. Jorge not only was knowledgeable about the rain forest but about Puerto Rico history. El Yunque was of course beautiful. I am partially disabled (foot drop) but I was able to ise my walker on the nature trail. Rhe fower had a sturdy railing to climb the 91 stwps.

5.00Jorge was wonderful!! Very knowledgeable and friendly! Great tour guide. Such a kind heart and you could see the passion he has for sharing his homeland. The tour was perfect for us as first time visitors. I would love to come back and see another part of the rain forest. Just beautiful.

4.00The tour guide was great. He knew his stuff. Had lots of information and was attentive, knowledgeable and professional. He guided us through the welcome center nicely. I had a problem with the pickup and drop off. Neither of which was the guides fault. I thought we would be picked up at our hotel which was my mistake. However, the spot where we were picked up/dropped off seemed to me was off the beaten trail. A more populated area would have been better.

5.00Our tour guide Jorge was exceptional! He was on time, professional, friendly and patient with my very curious 4 and 9 year old kids. He was also very knowledgeable about the rainforest and surrounding areas and clearly has a passion for his work. We paid up for a car seat for our 4 year old and it was installed and ready to go at pick up. Highly recommend!

5.00We really enjoyed our bus trip to El Yunque rainforest with tour guide, Jorge. Hotel pickup with prompt with good communication. Ride very pleasant with lots of added details. The rainforest was beautiful and this half day trip is designed for travelers looking for a low pressure way to see nature. Hike was short and easy and the climb to the top of the lookout tower was fun. Highly recommended!
