Each tour is led by a passionate and knowledgeable guide who wants to share his love for the island with you! On this tour, we will walk through muddy trails that are only 1.5 miles long! This popular trail leads through beautiful waterfalls that are natural water slides and pools with crystal-clear water! For the last stop, you will enjoy authentic Puerto Rican food next to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island!

San Juan
To begin our amazing adventure our guide will personally pick up at the travelers accommodation in the metro area. Pickups can be hotels, resorts, residences or airbnbs anywhere in San Juan, Carolina, Loiza, Canovanas, Luquillo, Rio Grande or Fajardo. The day before the excursion, the tour guide will be communicating with the travelers for exact pick up time and other details. This schedule goes from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The earlier we start the better, to avoid bigger tour groups that arrive from other companies.
El Yunque National Forest
Our certified tour guide will lead you through this beautiful hidden gem in the rainforest of "El Yunque" in this area you will explore through the muddy clay trails and the lushes green of the rainforest. We will arrive at Las Tinajas Falls depending on previously scheduled pick up times by your personal tour guide. The hike is about 1.5 miles in total and will take about half an hour to arrive to the first bathing area. The guide will talk about the Taino life in the rainforest, the beautiful plants that grow around and show you the incredible bathing areas hidden in paradise. In these bathing areas you will be able to spend 1-2 hours swimming around, rope swinging into the deep rainwaters, sliding through a natural waterslide and/or jump from a 30 foot cliff! All these things in one incredible area in Puerto Rico. We will stay here until 1-2pm and afterwards stop around in some of the nearby restaurants to grab a bite to eat!

Amazing El Yunque Experience with Solomon

5.00We had an incredible time on this tour with our family. Solomon was an excellent guide—very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience fun and easy for everyone. He took great care of the group, explained the history of El Yunque, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the hike. The stops at the waterfalls and natural pools were beautiful, and Solomon gave helpful tips on where to go and how to enjoy each spot safely. The small group size made it feel personal and not rushed, which we really appreciated. The Luquillo lunch stop was also a great addition—plenty of good food options and a nice way to relax after the hike. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our trip to Puerto Rico. Highly recommend, especially if you get Solomon as your guide!

5.00Our tour guide, Brian, was absolutely amazing! He picked us up very early, which at first made us a little grumpy but we very quickly realized that going to El Yunque first thing in the morning is the best way to do it! As we were coming back down from our hike the trail was getting very crowded, but we missed all the crowds thanks to Brian. The rainforest is beautiful, and Brian was super knowledgeable and eagle-eyed, spotting birds from far away and explaining their importance to Puerto Rico and the ecosystem. We learned so much! We also felt very safe and well taken care of. When we said we had heard about Lechon from a friend stateside, Brian pivoted from the usual Luquillo stop and took us to a local favorite in Fajardo where we had a fantastic lunch with freshly made Lechon—yummmm! We would highly recommend this tour because of the small group size, focus on safety, and amazing guide!

5.00Brian was an amazing tour guide for me and my friends. He was highly knowledgeable on Puerto Rican history and culture and told us all about the flora and fauna. After the tour he took us to a local restaurant for lunch with amazing food and told us about more to do on the island. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and educational morning in Puerto Rico.

2.00We weren’t fully informed of the difficulty, and slip and fall hazards of this tour until after it was too late to cancel without the loss of the full amount. We were informed the evening before the tour. As soon as I got the message, I called back and left a message. And hour later I left another message. There’s another one or two after that. We missed a call back in the morning from the operator, but tried multiple times again when we got the message. The only response we got was that they tried to contact us and we didn’t answer. Please make sure that this tour is for you before you commit to it.

She explained so much about the rainforest and made sure everyone felt comfortable during the hike. The lunch stop was a perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend this tour!

1.00They ask you to be prepared 90’ before the tour starts and they finally pick you up at the time it starts. Waiting from 06::30am and picked up at 08:00. Have fun guys

5.00I’m from Puerto Rico and it’s been a while since I went to El Yunque. It was my son’s first time at El Yunque and it could not be a better experience. Our guide Ricky was the best. Knowledgeable, fun and insightful. Totally recommend this!
Tourist Visit to El Yunque

3.00I wish I would have researched more about the location of this tour. It is how it’s described however not really a hike through El Yunque but more leisure walk to a very touristy area where you can swing, jump, or do a natural water slide. It’s South Part of Park not really considered part of El Yunque. Pluses was our Guide Solomon was very friendly and laid back. Our group was only 5 people total which was nice. Best part for me was the visit to the Loquillo Kiosks.
