Next proceed to the elephants & enjoy this guided session with experienced guides & keepers from this sanctuary which takes place between 11 am to 12 noon daily, learning the efforts made by this sanctuary in elephant conservation in Kenya. Nonetheless, get to enjoy the view of these baby elephants, & make great memories as you engage in photography. During this visit you also get to witness them having their bottle of milk as they relax & play engaging in sandbathes & a cool of mud bath in the heat of the day. You also have an opportunity to adopt & sponsor any of the orphaned baby elephants of your choice during this visit.
Giraffe Centre
After pick-up, you will be driven to the Giraffe Centre where you will learn more about the conversation efforts in place to conserve an endangered Rothschild giraffe sub-species. Under the supervision of a professional, you can appreciate the giraffes from a raised observation platform. These platforms allow the visitors to come eye-to-eye with the giraffes. The center also has a large auditorium where visitors can listen to talks about Giraffe conservation and a various activities the center is involved in throughout Kenya.

5.00Our day visiting the Elephant Orphanage, and Giraffe Centre was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Dennis. From the moment he picked us up, Dennis was warm, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. His driving was smooth and safe throughout Nairobi’s busy roads which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the experience. Dennis was patient, friendly and always happy to answer questions. At each location he explained what we were seeing and gave helpful tips so we could get the most out of the visit. The elephant orphanage and giraffe centre were incredible experiences, and Dennis made the day flow perfectly so we never felt stressed or hurried. His local knowledge and genuine enthusiasm made the tour feel personal rather than just another stop on a schedule. If you are lucky enough to have Dennis as your driver and guide, you are in excellent hands. He is a true professional and a wonderful ambassador for Kenya. We would highly recommend him to anyone wanting an authentic, enjoyable and well-organised day exploring Nairobi. Thank you Dennis for such a memorable experience! 🐘🦒🌿

5.00We wanted to be in a small group and wanted to do a half day tour to experience the amazing elephant orphanage in Nairobi National Park and the giraffes sanctuary. We also didn’t want to have to go out too early having only just arrived. Kelvin of ‘Rustic Nature Tours’ delivered this all perfectly for us. A she took us to a community project supporting local women with making beautiful beads which was wonderful. He was very knowledgable and interesting and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and this company. They also do all sorts of Safaris so we will contact him again when we return. PS please note separate to any tour booking the guest must pay a park fee per person and it’s best to do this in advance via the National park website

5.00The sights were once in a lifetime - elephant orphanage and giraffe sanctuary worth a trip to Nairobi. Kelvin, our guide, was great - picked us up on time, pointed out animals on the way, was full of information. Will refer any friends visiting Nairobi his way!

5.00Had such an amazing trip with Faith - she was incredible! Hotel pick up was easy and the car was good. She was so kind and knowledgeable and we had an amazing time. At the elephant sanctuary she rushed ahead and grabbed us the BESTTTTTTT spot for seeing the baby elephants!!! Was amazing. The park admission fees are not included so bare in mind that you will have to pay the before going to the Sheldrick trust. But that’s no worries but good to be be aware.

5.00Faith was absolutely amazing and made our time in Nairobi so special. She took us to the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and somehow got us the best spot to see all the babies up close, which made the experience even more unforgettable. After that, we visited the Giraffe Sanctuary where she knew every giraffe by name and even helped take the most beautiful photos of us. Faith also took us shopping and went above and beyond when I realized I needed a bigger bag, taking extra time to bring me to the mall without hesitation. On top of that, she even took us to an additional attraction that I had accidentally already purchased tickets for, making sure nothing went to waste. She was kind, knowledgeable, patient, and truly cared about making our experience perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend Faith to anyone visiting Nairobi. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00Doing this tour with Kelvin is THE BEST WAY to experience all of these places! He’s extremely knowledgeable and is very proud and passionate about the sites. He’ll give you inside tips and tricks to take your experience to the next level! Our day with him was awesome, he connected us with the best guides at each location, lunch was great, shopping pit stops were fabulous - overall it was an experience we’ll never forget!

5.00Do this tour with Rustic Nature Tours! We had the most fantastic experience at the Giraffe Centre, followed by a humbling experience with the cutest baby elephants at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and then an educational experience at Kobe Tough Beads and finally a very delicious lunch to end our day. Kevin from Rustic Nature Tours enabled us to take away not just photos and wonderful memories but also provided us with an education around these beautiful animals and what the Kenyan people are trying so desperately to achieve with repopulation. Asante sana!!
