Red Shanked Douc Langurs are endangered primates and almost found only in Vietnam. Son Tra is where these creatures call home

Start time varies based on season to match animals active time Embark on the fascinating world of our most endangered primates, off the beaten track and away from the tourist traps. In an easy, 3 hour-adventure, across twisting mountain road, scenic terrain, we will go into secret spaces that only the Red-Shanked Douc Langurs aka Rare Monkeys know. From encountering sprightly off-springs during breeding-season (March to July) to seeing the adults or alpha male, or just to enjoy the sight of monkeys being monkeys, you’ll learn how to tell a "she" from a "he", how to tell their age, and also participate in real-time research by helping to collect data about the monkey we encounter. We will meet a supporting cast of forest creatures; birds, colorful butterflies, plants, or sometimes mongoose. On the trail we travel, I'll find chances to have a conversation with local animal photographers. We can hear the insights and see their amazing photos from them for a better understand of the monkey . Not only we go finding rare animals but also have opportunity to see an amazing hidden sceneries of Monkey Mountain, secret beach, altogether will combine to make our trip full of surprises.

5.00We booked this tour after researching online. So glad we did. From our original booking enquiry, to payment and collection, everything was 100%. Cillian and Son, (our guide and driver) arrived on time, vehicle was great and roomy and clean. Cillian was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions and provide fun facts. The weather was perfect and we spotted a group of 5 Red Shanked Doulangers and spent time studying and photographing them in their narural habitat. Such amazing creatures. Cillian provided us with binoculars and pointed out the best angkes to capture great pictures. We were not rushed and allowed the enjoy this once in a lifetime experience. We then were driven back to our hotel and provided with water and snacks. 100% recommend this company.

5.00Leo was a responsible tour guide, came on time, made sure we were safe at all times while on his motorbike. The roads inside the reservation are safe and clear if traffic. Leo was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife we encountered during this experience. He also has a great professional camera and took me to a few good spots for scenic photography. Would highly recommend!

5.00Booking the trip went smoothly. It was quickly arranged and we could even be picked up from hoi an. On the day we were picked up and brought to da Nang where we met our guides for the day. Very enthousiastic, well informed and spoke very good English. We learned a lot about the red shanked douc langur. We were very lucky to see about 5/6 families in one morning! Such beautiful monkeys! I fully recommend booking with them! :)

5.00I had such a great time! Luke was a really great driver and guide, I felt very safe on the bike and he guided me to the best spots to see the monkeys, making sure I always saw them. We got really close to them and it felt so special! Would highly recommend this tour.

5.00We had an amazing Langkawi tour with Cillian! Everything was perfectly organized, and the whole experience was relaxed, enjoyable, and very memorable. Cillian was friendly, professional, and shared lots of interesting information throughout the trip. He made us feel very welcome and took great care of us from start to finish. The views were beautiful, the route was well planned, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the best spots. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended for anyone visiting

5.00It was a fantastic outing. We were taken by Alan and Leo on their motorcycle. Driving is very careful. We had seen two families of monkeys and a solo. They're red shanked douc langurs. Our guides answered all our questions with sincerity. Our guides are super nice. They gave us pictures taken with a telephoto lens. The trip lasted 3 hours but these monkeys are so beautiful to contemplate that I will go back to see them when I return to Danang. Book in advance as the team is composed of only 8 people. Thanks again to Leo and Alan
