  This tour is priced higher than some others, and it’s important to understand that much of what you’re paying for goes into the logistics — boat arrangements, coordination and timing to reach the island comfortably and safely. With that in mind, the overall experience makes more sense. The boat ride across Lake Victoria is scenic, especially toward sunset. Golden skies reflecting on the water, restless waves, fishermen casting their final lines of the day and egrets moving through the shallows create a very atmospheric setting. The Equator marker standing quietly against the wind provides a simple but symbolic focal point. The sunset itself was the highlight — calm, expansive and unhurried. It’s not a high-activity tour, but rather one that lets you absorb the landscape and the moment. My guide, Viola, was friendly and helpful throughout, ensuring everything ran smoothly and making the experience relaxed and comfortable.   My Lake Victoria Equator tour with Amos was an unforgettable experience! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing Uganda’s beauty. Standing right at the equator was fascinating, and Amos explained the science and cultural significance in such an engaging way. The views of Lake Victoria were breathtaking, and his attention to detail made the trip smooth and enjoyable.   A trip to the equator in the middle of lake Victoria was the best thing ever that I got to experience while on water. We crossed the equator line in the middle of the lake and we had an opportunity to watch the experience. Me and my friends booked this tour with Amos of nungi safaris and the process was very smooth .. I would highly recommend this trip to any one in Entebbe and would want to have an amazing evening

  Amazing experience 🙌🙌🙌🙌. We had an amazing boat trip to the equator line in the middle of lake Victoria with my friends. Amos and the team put together our boat trip and I would highly recommend them to any one who is Entebbe or Uganda on a short visit. Thanks 🙏 team for the best experience on lake Victoria.
