  The Sanctuary of Truth was one of the most inspiring places I visited in Pattaya. The craftsmanship is absolutely stunning — every inch carved with intention and detail. I went during the day, and it was peaceful, relaxing, and surprisingly not overwhelming or crowded. Later in the afternoon especially, the atmosphere felt calm and reflective. Our tour guide, Lenny, was amazing — extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history and symbolism. That made the experience much more meaningful. I’ve heard it’s even more beautiful at night, and I can believe it. A very inspiring and serene experience overall.

  Awe inspiring architecture! Worth the money if you have a good tour guide! Our tour guide wasn't the greatest. Spoke very fast English, which made him difficult to understand. It was also the last tour of the day and he seemed to rush the group through the tour. We ended up drifting off from group and exploring on our own. Loved exploring the hand-made architecture! Avoid the end of day tours to ensure you get the full benefit of the guided tour.

  Incredible building completely made of wood. Every cm2 is decorated inside and outside. And every decorations and sculpture has some deep meaning. Very nice keeping the tradition of wood carving alive as the work is still going on.

  Tourists Trap, they make you by a tour which go by different languages, you can end up waiting in the heat for an hour or more to get to English tour, by the time you get in and start the tour , it was pretty boring.

  A goose bumps experience at first seemed to us the entrance fee was quite high but already on the way to the temple/museum you saw parts of this building and I was impressed by the first moment. There are guided tours in different languages it was told us about the origin and parts of the carvings were also explained to us.   The temple was amazing. Really enjoyed the tour and they left plenty of time to explore it on your own.

  Viator do not offer transporation with the ticket from your hotel, so we got a taxi using "Grab" which is like Uber in the UK. Once you have exchanged your voucher for your ticket/wrist band, there is a 5-10 minute walk from the Ticket Area to the Sanctuary waiting area but if you are mobility issues, they will arrange for a buggy to take you. At the Waiting Area, you have to walk down 67 steps, again a buggy is offered to people with mobility issues. If it is too hot, they also offer umbrellas to shade you from the sun whilst walking down to the Sanctuary. At the actual structure, their is a lift to take you up and ramps available in most areas of the structure. There is also a lift on the opposite side to take you down. They will then arrange for a buggy to take you back to the Ticket Booth. It is quiet dark inside, so bear this in mind if you have any issues with your eye sight as it might need time to adjust. In this modern age of technology, it is amazing to see that there are still some very talented people who know how to build a structue using just wood and no nails. There are other attractions if you wish to participate but we just did the Sanctuary.
